I am so fortunate to have Ms. Julia Kim as my case manager. The entire workflow was smooth, and Julia guided me through every step and every required document. She is incredibly responsive, which is more than I can say for myself! I even missed the very last document in my email. All in all, the process took about five months, from my initial inquiry, through my own delays, to patiently waiting for Julia's updates. Yesterday, my bank called to confirm that my pension refund had been processed. I am so relieved and truly happy. Very professional and trust based relationship with Germany Pension Refund (GPR). Any delay caused in my case was based on internal issues at DRV and NOT due to GPR. On the contrary, GPR always was professional and supportive in all communications to continuously follow-up with the DRV including a Legal complaint that was needed in my case. My case took more than the average 3 months and even close to a year to get the refund back - so it is highly recommend to be patient, and GPR will help you fully in your journey. It is important for fellow clients to understand that GPR can NOT speed up the process with the official DRV process. Big thanks to Julia that handled my case personally. Very satisfied and highly recommend to fellow Expats. Kudos!
