service for Mac repairs quickly evolved into something greater — a movement to educate, equip, and empower students aged 11 to 18 with the skills, tools, and confidence to thrive in the modern digital economy.
We saw talented young people — particularly from underserved and marginalised communities — with natural curiosity and creativity, but no access to equipment, no support to explore tech careers, and no guidance in using technology safely or sustainably. That’s when Minko’s Tech Workshops was born.
Today, we provide age-tailored in-person workshops, a growing online learning platform, and a structured year-long mentorship programme to help young learners navigate tech with purpose, responsibility, and ambition.
