I had seven Danish design teak dining chairs from the 1960s professionally restored at ZRW Berlin — refinishing and polishing of the teak frames and re-securing of loose joints using original methods. The transformation is striking: the chairs look genuinely beautiful again, with a quality of finish and solidity that reflects real craft and a genuine drive to do a good job and care for the pieces.
I recommend ZRW Berlin's restoration work without hesitation for anyone with valuable mid-century pieces in Berlin.

After two of them replied immediately that they were not the right people for the job (for which I am very grateful) and two did not reply at all, the ZRB sent me a very detailed appraisal after five days. I now have a very professional appraisal in my hands.

Unser geliebter Teaksessel war auseinander gebrochen. Die Zusammenarbeit mit Herrn Westebbe verlief superfreundlich, auch am Wochenende reagierte er auf jede Nachricht sofort. Die Arbeiten waren erstaunlich schnell fertig gestellt und das Ergebnis ist super. Man kann nicht einmal mehr sehen, wo die Bruchstelle war. Man merkt, dass hier ein echter Fachmann tätig war - das hat auch seinen Preis, ja. Aber es lohnt sich auf jeden Fall! Wir würden unsere Antiquitäten immer wieder zu Herrn Westebbe bringen.

Auf jeden Fall zu empfehlen. Die ZRW hat sehr gute Arbeit geleistet und mir auch noch geholfen den reparierten Schrank wieder aufzubauen. Insgesamt waren wir mit der Arbeit sehr zufrieden. Dass es länger als erhofft gedauert hat, bis der Aktenrollschrank wieder funktioniert hat, war der Erkrankung eines Mitrabeiters geschuldet, für die er natürlich nicht verantwoortlich war. Ggf. würden wir die Werkstatt gerne weiterempfehlen.

Unser Tisch wurde hervorragend restauriert, nachdem er von der Sonne stark ausgeblichen war und unkundig bearbeitet worden war. Alle Schäden wurden behoben und der Tisch sehr sorgfältig und wunderschön wiederhergestellt. Höchste Handwerkskunst, für die die Kosten angebracht sind.
In jedem Fall ist das ein Beitrag zu einer nachhaltigen Lebensweise und Kreislaufwirtschaft.
