The meditation retreat in the Alps was simply fabulous and exceeded my expectations in every way. The combination of mindful meditation and beautiful hikes through the alpine landscape was perfectly balanced and did my body and mind a world of good.
I’d especially like to highlight the excellent organization: everything was thought through down to the last detail, planned seamlessly, and at the same time designed to be pleasantly relaxed. You could fully immerse yourself in the experience without having to worry about a thing.
A huge shout-out goes to the workshop leader, Florian. With his calm, authentic manner and extensive expertise, he created an atmosphere where you immediately felt at ease and in good hands. His guidance was clear, empathetic, and inspiring—just the right mix to cater to both beginners and advanced practitioners.
The days on the Alpe were marked by inner peace, breathtaking nature, and a wonderful sense of community. I’m taking home not only beautiful memories but also valuable insights for everyday life.
I wholeheartedly recommend this meditation retreat and am already looking forward to returning.

Florian made it a very positive experience. Nothing is rigid or strict. He creates space and calm. He has a great sense of his interactions with others. He communicates with empathy, yet clearly and understandably. He has a very pleasant manner and voice. On top of that, there was a fantastic group that I clicked with on a personal level from the very first moment. The hiking helped me organize my thoughts and insights. A good mix of meditation, conversation, movement, and inspiration, plus a whole lot of fun. Thank you so much for this very inspiring week. It certainly won’t be the last time.

Für mich war das Zusammenspiel verschiedener Seminarelemente perfekt, um die Selbstreflexion anzuregen und bei einem eigenen Thema voranzukommen: Angeleitete Meditationen, Yogaübungen, reflexive Elemente und Wandern in gelungener Abfolge und mit ausreichend Zeit dazwischen, um Erlebtes setzen zu lassen und in neue Perspektiven zu überführen.
Florian ist ein sehr authentischer, empathischer, kluger, erfahrener und sicherer Begleiter und es gelang ihm ausgezeichnet ein Klima des Wohlfühlens und der Sicherheit in der Gruppe herzustellen.
Für alle, die fernab vom Alltag, in einer phantastischen Bergwelt mit sich (wieder) in Kontakt kommen möchten, ist dieses Seminar wärmstens zu empfehlen.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ MBSR Course – Highly Recommended for Mindfulness & Stress Reduction
If you’re looking for the perfect MBSR (Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction) course, “Wege zum Sein” by Thomas Schneider is the perfect choice. I’ve just completed the MBSR Compact Course and am deeply impressed.
Instructor Thomas leads the meditations and mindfulness exercises with a compelling blend of calmness, expertise, and personal authenticity. You immediately sense that he doesn’t just teach mindfulness, but truly lives it—and that makes all the difference. He conveys even complex concepts of mindfulness in a way that’s easy to understand and relevant to everyday life.
The group atmosphere was particularly valuable: despite our different backgrounds, a safe, non-judgmental space quickly emerged—ideal for truly engaging with the process. The course provides concrete tools for everyday life—no esotericism, but practical techniques for stress management and self-awareness.
My personal takeaway: I handle stressful situations much more calmly and have a better sense of myself. This course has truly changed my life for the better.
For anyone seeking stress management, burnout prevention, or simply more inner peace—I can wholeheartedly recommend this course.

Bettenburg Castle is a truly special place for a retreat, surrounded by beautiful nature, the animals on the farm, and the castle’s caring staff, who serve excellent food.

A weekend of silence sounds at first like a retreat—almost like a sacrifice. No talking, no interaction, no escape into conversation or distraction. And yet it was precisely this silence that was the loudest thing I’ve experienced in a long time.

The first few hours were challenging. Without words, a familiar outlet was suddenly missing. Thoughts grew louder, more urgent. My head felt like a room where all the voices wanted to speak at once.

But the longer the weekend went on, the more things changed. The thoughts didn’t necessarily become fewer, but I began to perceive them differently. Like passing clouds that I didn’t have to hold onto. Space emerged. Space between thoughts. Space between stimulus and response.

The group meditations were particularly intense. Although no one spoke, there was a sense of connection. A silent togetherness that went deeper than many conversations. Everyone sat on their own—and yet we were not alone.

Even the little things suddenly took on significance: the sound of footsteps on gravel, the rustling of leaves, one’s own breath. It was as if the world were growing quieter so that one could finally hear it again.

On the second day, a wave of emotions washed over me. Unexpected and unfiltered. Sadness, gratitude, even a quiet joy—everything was allowed to be there without being judged. Without having to be immediately explained or shared.

When the silence was broken at the end of the weekend, the first spoken voice felt almost foreign. And at the same time, precious. Words regained meaning, weight. I realized how consciously I wanted to speak—and how little actually needs to be said.

I didn’t return from this weekend as a “different person.” But as someone who has come a little closer to myself. The silence didn’t add anything—rather, it revealed what had been there all along.

And perhaps that was the greatest insight of all: that in the noise of everyday life, we often fail to hear what speaks to us so clearly in the silence.
