Over the years, our wooden house developed unsightly black spots under the roof and in some places on the facade. They said it was definitely algae.
During the inspection, the customer service representative explained to me what needed to be done. Ultimately, he confirmed the information on their website: gently hosing it down with a special cleaning agent. The result is fine for my purposes. The house will be painted soon. But so-called “gentle rinsing” was more like high-pressure washing, and the special cleaning solution definitely contained chlorine. Plants were slightly damaged, and the wooden deck bleached in places. This will likely resolve itself over time due to weathering, but this cleaning method isn’t without its problems.
The treated surface is slightly weathered, which is a good base for painting later.
The work was done neatly, and mopping up the water was surprisingly easy.

Everything went great. A big thank you to the workers who cleaned the facade.

Within a very short time, I was contacted by the customer service representative, Mr. Bock.
Mr. Bock, a very friendly and honest customer advisor, took a lot of time to explain the whole process to me in detail, cleaned a sample area on the house and answered everything I wanted to know to my satisfaction.
Unfortunately, we had to postpone the date for the façade cleaning several times due to the weather and personal circumstances.
