But I must now finally thank Mr. Alexander Keferstein from Benninger & Cie.
The actual advice on my insurance policies from Mr. Keferstein was about 10 years ago, but with insurance you often only realize late on when it was particularly good. In my case, it's particularly about disability insurance, which I've (unfortunately!) had to take out since last year.
I still remember my conversation with Mr. Keferstein at the time and his clear and understandable explanations of details such as the "abstract referral" and the future relevant insurance amount.
As usual, I didn't think much more about it afterwards until I was no longer able to work due to illness two years ago. After a while, I called Mr. Keferstein at Benninger & Cie. because I now had detailed questions about my insurance. Not only were they patiently answered, Mr. Keferstein also pointed out to me the option of seeking organizational help from a specialized law firm because of my concerns about making mistakes in the process. He gave me the contact details of the independent BU Expertenservice GmbH (https://bu-expertenservice.de), which I can only recommend at this point!
They took care of all the organizational tasks, including communication with the insurer, and checked all the information and documents I had submitted. Here, too, the decisions made during the consultation when taking out the insurance were clearly praised. This gave me the peace of mind and time to focus on my recovery during a critical phase.
At the end of the day, it is probably thanks in no small part to Mr. Keferstein that I have secured my basic provision until retirement age and will also receive a small pension payment from my disability insurance beyond that.
Everyone hopes never to need their insurance. But if the worst comes to the worst, you're glad to have received competent and independent advice in advance!
So thank you very much!
