You can tell that she has a lot of experience and pays attention to certain things for which I often lack the eye. With her help, the manuscript was perfected. Ms. Skelac worked her way into my children's book manuscript with professional thoroughness within a few days. It was a great enrichment to talk to her during the compact check about the story, which had previously only existed in my head. Suddenly there was someone who was extremely knowledgeable about this story and raised purposeful content questions. Ms. Skelac was extremely empathetic, but also firm, in showing me meaningful ways to optimize various areas , which need to be considered when writing a children's book. Ms. Skelac helped us with our first work with her professional eye both linguistically and in terms of reading fluency, logic errors and comprehensibility.
She always took a lot of time and was able to help us very much as beginners in the development of our book. During joint conversations/phone calls we were able to discuss the next work steps together, intervene in places where there were problems and thus change our view of our own work.
Ms. Skelac always accompanied us reliably during the various work steps and also made it clear to us why which change made sense and contributed to further development.
Furthermore, in addition to her professional expertise, she is always there with her heart and lets herself be inspired for a project.

From the initial consultation to the finished text, an all-round service that is second to none! Julia Skelac regularly proofreads and corrects press texts for the M&G Showcompany. This requires a great deal of linguistic creativity and accuracy, but the texts must also serve the purpose of appealing directly to the audience in order to sell the show. She was also able to provide us with valuable assessments on plagiarism issues with her linguistic expertise. A lasting top collaboration!

We are always so happy with Julia's translations. It's rare to find a translator that takes so much pride in their work. She is happy to go through a text time and time again until everything is just right. When we had a book that had been poorly translated by someone else, she didn't just proofread it, but re-created the entire text from scratch! Julia is friendly and communicative, and goes above and beyond both in the quality of her translation and in her consulting and customer service approach. Could not recommend enough.

Ms. Skelac convinces with individual and professional editing. She responded to all my questions and wishes and gave me very competent technical advice. I was particularly satisfied with the fact that she found excellent solutions to all semantic or stylistic questions. When editing children's books, she impresses with a special sensitivity for this genre. But also with other texts, such as letters of application, I appreciate her proofreading and editing very much - anytime again!
