I brought my 12 year old lawn mower in for service because the drive was no longer working properly. To avoid an expensive repair, the professional first offered me an estimate, which I thought was very fair. The next day I decided to buy a new unit. What surprised me was the price, not the price printed in the catalog was offered to me but without asking I was given a discount of about 15%.
My advice to all hobby gardeners before you get a device from the hardware store, look first at Pscherer before you make a purchase decision.
