They tailored the program to my individual needs. Many tips and new approaches were suggested and discussed. Conducting the program via Teams worked perfectly for me. I really appreciated having multiple coaches, as each one brought their own perspectives to the table. I benefited a lot from it, and I’ll recommend this company and this format to others.
If there’s anything to criticize, for me it’s the Teamup calendar. I only knew about the first session and found out during that session that there were already many long-planned sessions scheduled. In this regard, I would prefer if the session dates were sent directly in the first email (ideally formatted for iPhone, Google, and Outlook calendars).

The coaching sessions with Markus, Richard, and Maureen fully met my expectations. I found the combination of three coaches to be very effective, since each has their own individual strengths, which allowed us to address my personal goals in the best possible way. The atmosphere was always friendly and collegial. I really enjoyed working with all of them, and I would do it this way again in a heartbeat. So, once again, a very heartfelt thank you from me.

I received coaching from Markus Kimpel and am very happy with it. He’s an incredibly pleasant person with a wealth of life experience. You can be sure he knows what he’s talking about! I found the combination of coaches—Dr. Garten in the medical field, Ms. Kingana-Schmincke in media literacy, and Mr. Kimpel as an all-around applicant coach—particularly helpful.
As a constructive suggestion for future planning regarding individual coaching sessions, I would prefer no more than three coaches. The introductory rounds and the process of getting to know the person being coached take time, and in some cases, the areas of expertise of the new coaches overlap.
What I particularly liked was how quickly my coaches grasped my new career path, allowing them to provide me with effective support right away. Finally, I’d like to give a special shout-out to Ms. Habib, the organizational whiz who perfectly and efficiently coordinated all the appointments between the coaches and me. Thank you very much!

After 28 years, I found myself writing job applications again and realized that a lot has changed. My coach, Markus Kimpel, showed me what to look out for in cover letters, resumes, and job interviews. In June 2026, I completed a 50-session AVGS-certified online career and job application coaching program at Plus Kompetenzcoaching GmbH, based in Kassel—a program that my very competent and dedicated BAfA case worker had “encouraged" me to take. I myself would never have thought to sign up for something like this or even look into it, and I didn’t know that the BAfA offers and funds such programs.
That would have been a serious mistake, because according to the grading scale, my coaching program deserves a perfect 14 points (or a “very good”), and I wouldn’t have wanted to miss a single session. Yes, it was exhausting, intensive, and packed with a lot of information—but it was well worth it and led to the success I was hoping for.
From start to finish—from my research on the Plus Kompetenzcoaching GmbH website, through the administrative processes, to the individual modules and their implementation—I was truly impressed—and that’s despite my high standards for everything around me. In addition to many general aspects, my modules focused on “Effective Job Search & Professional Networking” as well as “Standing Out in the Application Process Through Individualized, Tailored, and Modern Documents.” Before the coaching, I actually thought my application materials were quite good, given my many years of business experience—as a former entrepreneur and currently as a Senior Account Manager—but the coaching transformed them into professional, modern, meaningful, and impactful documents.
Three coaches supported me during the one-month coaching program, which consisted of 50 teaching units across 3 modules, and I’d like to thank each of them equally: Richard Kohnen, Katharina Stopienska, and Markus Kimpel! Three distinct personalities with different approaches and areas of focus, but all sharing the same goal: to help me navigate my arduous job search—given the current challenging job market and my advancing age—with empathy, extensive expertise, and a wealth of structured information and input, thereby driving my application process forward. Through a healthy dose of AI applications, viewed with a critical and reflective eye, I was convinced and guided to see how effectively these can be introduced and implemented—which was also a completely new and very positive experience for me. Due to the upheaval in the automotive industry, I’ve had to look for a new challenge during a difficult period (Q2/2026). After months of unsuccessful attempts, I was at my wits’ end. That’s when I signed up with the Coaching Center.

During the first consultation, after a brief introduction, Ms. Habib immediately suggested Mr. Petro Rigos—a true expert with several decades of experience in the automotive industry. That’s how I met my fourth mentor in my 20-year career.
