Learning for the Abi at senior age is per se paved with stumbling blocks. Picking up on old knowledge in math - some 50 years after the end of school - is like running a marathon through the high mountains (at least for me!).
I use several tools to overcome forgotten things, ignorance and difficulties in understanding. A very important tool for 'on the way' became for me the math bible. I can really recommend it to every student (no matter what age) with a clear conscience. Whenever something seemed incomprehensible to me - the math bible had an understandable explanation.
I decided at the age of 38 to start a distance learning program in computer science again. Math was always my problem subject, where I was good at first but later got left behind. To prepare for my studies I'm taking a prep course online, the other day I spent over an hour struggling with the explanation and still didn't understand it. Looked it up in the math bible for 10 minutes and I was able to solve most of the problems.
The complete ebook has almost 4,500 pages. For me, an excellent value for the money!
I bought Mathebibel for kids attending high school because it might help them to save time and better understand math concepts. I like this kind of teaching as I compared it with materials I used during my education. It is also helpful as a quick reference for the case that kids need support in math.
Quick help for parents to supplementary explanation to the child by clear explanation with clear calculation and drawing example.
Above all, a topic with little time to grasp. Supplementary very positive that there are further explanations on the subject. To be able to quickly close gaps in knowledge, the structure in individual modules is absolutely top!
I am only an occasional user - more as a hobby and out of curiosity - but I get along very well with the way it is displayed. Thankfully, there is no feeling of being overwhelmed. The structure is logical in itself. The knowledge can then also be passed on very well to others.
Our daughter spent a school year abroad where the level of math instruction was unfortunately below what is expected in school in Germany. She learned all the 11th year material with the help of Mathebibel with no comprehension problems and even having fun!
Thank you very much! We have already recommended Mathebibel several times.
