Alpine Jewel summer 2022. Our first stay there. And yet from the very beginning it was a feeling of "coming home". Besides the impressive, wooden and homely hotel facade, we were welcomed by the reception team like new family members. Including welcome drink, of course ;-)
Rooms and view "priceless". For example, we had our balconies towards HInterglemm and also laterally towards the mountainside. Both directions: fantastic. The room itself very naturally furnished (among other things, Swiss pine wood was used). In addition to the cleanliness of the room (daily and conscientious cleaning included), the flat rate mineral water fresh from its own tap should be mentioned. Beer would also have been nice, but we would have had to book another room...
The hotel itself is nicely winding, so that one could well have the impression of a larger family pension. By the way, family: I already mentioned the warm welcome at the reception. The same is also true for the entire staff. From the waiter/waitress to the many other "caretakers". We were taken care of. Especially in the gastro area, where it is challenging to be everywhere all the time during peak season, we had a service couple who mostly, but always charmingly and omnipresent gave us the feeling that we were the only guests. On this subject, I had read in 1, max. 2 other reviews that the staff was not good and also unfriendly. To this we can only counter that you should perhaps question yourself with which "tone" you give yourself. All, really all employees were friendly, helpful and charming. Not to say: familiar.
In terms of culinary, it should be mentioned that it is an organic certified hotel, which offers healthy and regional. From vegan, vegetarian to gluten-free, etc., everything is offered. But there is also "normal" food ;-) Sabi and his team have succeeded not only the predicate "extremely tasty" but also visually some works of art.
Pool area, sauna, swimming pool, terraces with loungers, outdoor bar etc. pp: top.
The location of the hotel itself is central, but still quiet: side street in the village near the (let's call it) picturesque "pedestrian zone" and opposite the valley station of the Reiterkogelbahn. Accordingly, a perfect starting point in all directions.
What else is there to say? For both of us, the Alpin Juwel, including the staff, has left a lasting impression. Not to say: we still revel in positive memories. Therefore, dear AJ family: we will see you again :-))))
