We are more than satisfied with the planning and execution of our 20-day safari trip and have returned home happy and filled with unforgettable memories! A huge, heartfelt thank you to the entire AFROMAXX team. Trip planning: meticulous, personalized, very flexible, and tailored to our needs

Tour: We feel like we’ve truly seen everything the part of Tanzania we visited has to offer in terms of national parks, wildlife, and landscapes—we did, after all, deliberately exclude the south and Zanzibar. It was a good and well-balanced mix of activities and downtime. We found the Masai day at the Original Masai Lodge to be very interesting and a nice change of pace.

Travel dates: February 17–March 9, 2026; this was our preferred time, but it was borderline due to frequent rain, although we were mostly lucky during the day. Mid-January would likely have been even better.

Lodges: just right, truly beautiful, but not overly luxurious; excellent food; great mix of tent and bungalow accommodations; top-notch service everywhere. We found the “Sound of Silence” to be outstanding.

Guide/Driver: “Innocent” is not only an excellent driver and a great, experienced guide with an almost uncanny sense for nature and its inhabitants, but also a truly kind, humorous, and empathetic person. We felt safe at all times, even in more extreme driving situations, and were very impressed by his defensive driving style. He showed and explained so much to us and always catered to our needs. Plus, we had a lot of fun together throughout the entire trip. Bottom line: it doesn’t get any better than this; we can and will highly recommend AFROMAXX!

The accommodations were awesome...when we thought there was no increase...the next accommodation was a little different...only good. The driver was also unique!!!!!!

Afromaxx is highly recommended for climbing Kilimanjaro. The guides took great care of us, the porters were all helpful, the food was just great with great meals prepared for us by the cook on the mountain. The organization was perfect, we were briefed every day in detail about the next day, the necessary medical checks were carefully done every day. We booked a Kilimanjaro tour and a safari through AFROMAXX. We were thrilled with the Kili tour - professional guides, the chemistry was right and one noticed the many years of experience. We also liked the safari, but overall it was a bit behind the Kili tour. All in all, we are very satisfied with the provider, the communication and the handling and also with the price-performance ratio.

Afromaxx did the planning of our honeymoon for us. From the very beginning, our contact person Daniela was very competent, eager and absolutely professional. We relied on her completely and were able to concentrate on the wedding.
Particularly noteworthy is that Daniela was available for us 24/7 and always responded extremely quickly.

The preparation and execution of my Kilimanjaro trip to Stella Point 5756 NN was very well organized and I am very satisfied. Especially the accompaniment by the experienced mountain guide Jackson I would like to mention here again and recommend. Even if it became difficult from 5.000 NN he encouraged me against the strong wind and the cold to go further up and to fulfill my dream of climbing the highest African mountain.

We enjoyed our 7-day Kilimanjaro climb from start to finish. Our guides could not have been more professional and the whole team had a very pleasant atmosphere. We were well looked after all round and there was never a shortage of fun. The porters do a great job and make the ascent possible in the first place. It was therefore important to us that they were also appropriately remunerated. That's why we decided to travel with Afromaxx, even though a climb would certainly have been cheaper. It was definitely worth it and we won't forget this trip in a hurry!

We are back from our Tanzania trip (6 days safari in the national parks in northern Tanzania and then relaxation on Zanzibar) and would like to thank the Afromaxx team for this great trip, the many impressions and information as well as the good organization.
The team organized everything perfectly and answered all questions/uncertainties (especially regarding Corona) quickly and competently. Our safari guide Charles told us a lot about his country and answered all our questions. He is a careful driver and a very friendly, humorous young man. With his knowledge, charm and smile, he made the safari an unforgettable experience.
The animals in the national parks were really close enough to touch, the parks were not yet heavily frequented and the accommodation exceeded all expectations.
