I chose Anternia after reading the many positive reviews on the Internet. I can only highly recommend this company, they always responded to my questions in a competent and very friendly manner. We only spoke on the day of my wife's death on August 23, 2021 (at the hospital 100 km from me), the rest was done by email. Since I am a pensioner, it was also important to me that it was inexpensive and everything went professionally and quickly. My special thanks go to Mrs. Brümmer, who answered every email I sent her immediately. It was just an anonymous cremation. I can only warmly recommend Anternia. Manfred Otten

The communication was very polite, there is nothing to complain about. What bothers me afterwards is the following:

1. there were "additional costs" in the form of a "weekend surcharge" that were not clearly communicated beforehand
2. after the first installment payment, I personally had the feeling that I was on my own.

And what I personally really do NOT like at all:

Being sent a pile of ADVERTISEMENTS for death insurance, real estate stuff etc. together with the final bill, UNAFAIRLY!
Is that still possible? I wasn't asked about it and I never spoke to Aternia about it and I think it's a shame that once again I get a negative feeling from people wanting to profit from the grief and vulnerability of others...

A little reverence would be appropriate at this point! The last thing I want to worry about after the death of a loved one is advertising flyers for dubious insurance companies, death benefits, etc.

At first it was difficult to get in touch due to a public holiday. But then the consultation and handling was very pleasant, sensitive and professional. Everything went as planned, the price was as agreed, with no hidden costs. I can really recommend them.

We were not familiar with the funeral home, but became aware of it by chance through the online search. The advice we received on the phone, the online site and the overall feeling we had when talking to the staff convinced us. We had opted for a burial in the nearby resting forest. Part of the costs are to be paid directly to the forest administration. This was also made clear in Anternia's description. Everything went very smoothly. The documents were sent promptly. During this difficult time, we were very happy to have received uncomplicated yet competent support.

I was very happy that I didn't have to go to a funeral home during this difficult time. I was able to arrange everything from home and Anternia took care of everything. It couldn't have been better. The transfer of my father over 500 km went smoothly and the burial at sea was wonderful. Yes, I didn't think you could say that about a funeral. I would like to thank Anternia and its partner Reederei Ludwig in Kiel for the smooth process. I can only recommend them both. The price was also reasonable for all the services included.
