Unfortunately, I can't really understand the 5 star reviews. My teeth were completely replaced with 23 crowns in 7 days at the Antlara Dental Clinic. The first time the crowns were fitted, the wrong tooth color from the dental laboratory was chosen, and then the crowns were made incorrectly again (incisors far too long).
The clinic employee assured me that the work would definitely be finished by the time we left. Finally, the crowns were fitted on the third attempt (on the last day before departure). Ultimately, there was no time or opportunity to change anything or make any fine adjustments.
The dentist was constantly chatting with the assistants while he was working on my teeth and also interrupted his work to continue his conversations with them, which was very unpleasant for me because he wasn't 100% focused on my operation.
The result is that the impression material, which should normally be removed before the temporary crowns were fitted, was not removed until the crowns were fitted and caused pain. It is "impression material" and harmless, but I still don't want to have the dirt in my mouth overnight, especially not when I eat. (Image was added by me in the post)
After 2 weeks I had to fly to Antalya at my own expense to have 2 crowns removed by Antlara Dental Clinic because a critical gap between the crown and the gums had been overlooked, where food particles could have become trapped under the crowns. Here the clinic management mentioned that their service was 100% (therefore the clinic cannot contribute to the hotel costs). Absolutely outrageous!
If a dentist in Austria were to define this result with a gap between the crown and the gums as 100% service, he would immediately lose his license forever!
In other words, "Operation successful - patient dead!" is almost appropriate.
Despite the error of the clinic/dentist, no understanding was shown and the hotel costs were not covered, and certainly not the flight costs, although the service should have been provided in the first 7 days of the package, which includes accommodation. Immediately after my return flight, an implant crown broke off while I was eating because apparently my bite had not been adjusted correctly.
I was able to chew normally, but the Antlara Clinic dentist did not want to grind down too much because otherwise too much of the crown would be lost. It's a matter of getting used to it, said the dentist at Antlara Dental Clinic.
Due to hotel and flight costs, nerves and precious time that had already been wasted, I decided not to fly to Antalya a third time to have the dental crowns removed again.
As the clinic shows no understanding, I will commission a new dental clinic to finish my "half-finished construction site" in my mouth.
After I was treated by Antlara Dental Clinic, I had my teeth x-rayed by a renowned EU-certified dental clinic using CT. The result is horrifying and the doctors judged this treatment result to be almost "criminal". TWO inflammation sites (- see x-ray images/areas marked in red) were COMPLETELY overlooked.
A molar should have been completely removed URGENTLY and replaced with an implant.
Another tooth of the front incisors (see CT scan image) also needed urgent root canal treatment before the zirconium crown could be glued on. Antalara Dental Clinic simply glued the crowns on without treating the inflammation site.
I thought long and hard about whether I should publish this review, as it is like a kick in the kidneys for Antlara Dental Clinic. But I want to warn other patients about what can happen if you get treatment for a cheap price and fly home with bigger problems than you had before you arrived...
