I have already had the pleasure of experiencing several inspiring guided tours with Mr. Guido Petras on the Museum Island in Berlin - both in a professional and private context. Each time I was delighted by his deep knowledge and his inspiring way of conveying the late antique and medieval cultures of the Eastern Mediterranean. Mr. Petras makes his tours lively and engaging, so that the participants can experience the historical contexts and cultural characteristics of this era first hand. One feels as if one were immersed in history oneself and experiencing the period on site. Mr. Petras addresses every single question and the specific interest of each participant. His attentive manner and in-depth knowledge creates an interactive and personal experience for everyone present. The result is a unique experience!

Great guided tour by Dr. Blumenthal through the New and Old Museum for our 8 and 10 year old boys. She was super responsive to the kids and made the visit an exciting experience.

I invited my friends for my birthday to a guided tour of the Museum Island with Guido Petras. I had booked this tour before on business. Both times it was an absolute success. Can not remember business or private that there was so much unanimity and positive response. Business and private the next tours are already planned. Absolutely do it! It is not comparable with a standard tour.
Very convenient booking process and the guide (Mrs Vera Blumenthal) has been extremely nice and engaged. We had a lovely tour through the Pergamonmuseum and have learnt a lot.
Fantastic experience all around! The planning and organisation of our tour was very efficient and everything has worked out exactly as planned. The Ariadne Team has done a great job and provided very good insights and suggestions. The guide of our tour through Neue Nationalgalerie was excellent as he was not only highly knowledgeable but also entertaining providing a wonderful experience to everyone in our group.
We were guided by Mr. Loth over the Museum Island and through the Pergamon and the New Museum. Everything was very flexibly organized and Mr. Loth responded very well to the needs of the two children (13, 14) who were with us and included them in the tour. Mr. Loth is a prehistorian and Egyptologist and you get the impression that he really knows everything and there is no question he can't answer:-) All in all, I don't think it gets much better than this if you want to have an individual and knowledgeable tour. Definitely recommended !
The guided tour by Dr. Blumenthal in the Neues Museum on 29.02.2020 was excellent, very competent and extremely informative for us: The selection of the chosen objects deepened our understanding of Egyptian culture.
The choice of objects deepened our understanding of Egyptian culture; the highlight of the tour was Nefertiti and the calendar in the Book of the Dead.
