As a "young" professional (4-5 years work experience) with personal high career expectations and inreasing responsibility for team members as a project manager, it was my goal to gain a deeper understanding in how to lead and develop people.
Mrs Fuhrmann experience, knowledge, ideas and approach on strong leadership truly broadened my horizon and showed me the complexity of human interaction. Beyond just showing me this complexity, Mrs Fuhrmann was able to provide me methodologies that enabled me to identify personal preferences, priorities and trigger points of my team members which I could then use to develop and motivate them for their own and my benefits.
By design (meetings occured every 4-6 weeks), the coaching with her allowed me to constantly learn new ideas/concepts, use them in the real world, reflect and discuss with Mrs. Fuhrmann what worked or should be improved and adopt to new circumstances (learn, act, reflect, adopt).
Thereby, over the course of 7 sessions I was able to experience how her ideas work and how I can adopt them to develop my own style of strong leadership.
