It doesn't matter whether it's the learning that's simply fun, the lecturers who are very competent, the individual support that is implemented very well, the way they respond to each other, help each other and master difficult situations together. The school offers an all-round carefree package and I can only warmly recommend it to everyone.

For 4 months now, I have been undergoing further training to become an IT administrator at the Bildungsakademie in Hannover. The following are my experiences.

Concept:

The BA in Hanover offers retraining, continuing education and courses of study in the subject area of IT. Since I am in a continuing education program, I will only evaluate this area.

Personnel:

The internal and external trainers as well as the administrative management and management not only appear serious and competent, but also take care of personal concerns. These can be, for example, questions about educational offers, IT companies or subsidies for educational measures. The employees are easy to reach and you can always get good advice on technical questions.

Classes:

Classes are held theoretically in the academy, practically in a company and externally via online classes. The trainers are consistently well-versed and very professional. Here you notice from the 1st day that expertise in IT is taught.

Procedure:

During the first 12 months of the IT Administrator course, you will be theoretically prepared for the IHK exam and the practical phase. During this preparation, students acquire various certifications that are tailored to the current job market.
The next 12 months take place in a company of your choice, with full support from the BA. In this phase, you complete a project for the IHK examination and have the chance to gain a foothold and remain in the company.

The numbers of the BA speak for themselves, in my time I have not yet experienced that someone has failed or has not worked out a permanent job.

Infrastructure:

The BA is conveniently located on Vahrenwalder Straße, directly at the A2 freeway exit. Sufficient parking spaces are available. The classrooms are modernly equipped and work is done in small, pleasant groups so that no one can lose touch.


All in all, I can recommend the BA in Hannover without reservation. Anyone who is technically savvy and interested in working in IT should seek advice at the BA.

I think it's good that we students are also asked for feedback directly after courses. Otherwise, the content for the IT administrator and IT specialist is very good. You have a lot of freedom and is also supported by the lecturer to go through other content so that you learn what is current in the IT world or what interests you. The chance to test so much you never get again. I also think it's great how students interact with each other. Everyone helped and encouraged each other. Some students may need different learning methods. In general, for me personally, the existing learning methods were just right. For me it was due to my previous experience. Some others I have also seen from 0% and "I throw down" to 100% like "now I train others" blossom. I also find it great that you can do all the certificates you want and also be supported in the respective direction. And not just by "reading from the book" but with expertise.

The BA team, especially the academy director, is very competent and friendly.
The lessons were varied and well comprehensible. Good preparation for the entry into further professional life!!! Highly recommended!!!
