Our history goes back... a long way and is a family story. As six siblings—and now including two brothers-in-law—we are a true family business with extensive experience in the precious metals and gemstone industry. Some of us have stores in other German cities, some work in wholesale, and one of our sisters runs a gold-buying shop in The Hague, Netherlands.

After many years in the wholesale business in Linden (Giessen district), we’ve decided to now offer our services to end customers like you in our own hometown as well. That’s why we’ve opened a store in downtown Linden, at Konrad-Adenauer-Str. 18. There, we offer you the opportunity to have your valuables appraised free of charge and with no obligation in a discreet and comfortable atmosphere. Whether it’s dental gold or silver coins, we can always offer you a good price. If you’re satisfied with our offer, you can leave your items with us immediately and take the offered amount home in cash.

We named our company “Brennstein.” Brennstein is the old Central German word for amber, a special product of nature whose beauty and uniqueness have grown dear to us over the years. No two stones are alike; every necklace is different—a diversity that reflects life itself. We share this passion not only for amber but also for gemstones such as diamonds and precious metals. We love our profession and have a burning enthusiasm for our products—but above all, for our customers: you. That’s why: Brennstein GbR.

In addition to our passion for our profession, we have many years of experience in our field. Many kilograms of gold, countless gemstones, and thousands of amber necklaces have passed through our hands. This enables us to quickly and expertly determine the maximum value of your items. And here, too, our family ties help: Each of us has specialized particularly in certain areas. This allows us to seek advice from a family member.

We know better than anyone that selling valuables is, after all, a matter of trust. You want to be sure that you’re actually getting a fair price for your jewelry or other items.
