We are "repeat offenders".
2022 Camino Ingles and 2023 Camino Frances (Astorga to SDC), each time with our now 8 year old son. The contact was always super friendly. All our questions were always answered and all our wishes were taken into account. We were always very satisfied. And our Camino de Santiago this year (Portugal) is already planned. You have the feeling that you know each other, which gives the whole thing a very familiar feeling when you talk to CaminoTours. We are really looking forward to our walk this year and are sure that we will do it again.

Were from 13.05. - 04.06.23 from Gijon to Fisterre on the northern route.

The accommodation, the local support (for emergencies etc.) ..... everything was perfectly organized and went smoothly.

Our tip for the Nordweg:
The Nordweg is an impressive and scenic trail but often steep and strenuous, so you should not do without poles.

If we book another trip on the Way of St. James, we will do it again with Camino Tours.

Returned from our wonderful pilgrimage, we are very happy to give feedback for the great care from the team of Camino Tours. First of all, a big thank you for the comprehensive services! From booking to the return flight we were always friendly and with great professional competence and experience advised and cared for. When contacting us and asking questions in advance, we always received an answer from the Camino Tours team in the shortest possible time.
We experienced a wonderful, unforgettable pilgrimage tour with great impressions and experiences. We were a group with several women, all were enthusiastic about the organization of Camino Tours. The accommodations had a good location, related to the distance to the Camino. The guesthouses and hotels were very clean and the staff was friendly and always looking out for our welfare. The luggage transport between the different accommodations was always on time and reliable. We felt completely satisfied and were happy to have had the organization of Camino Tours "behind us" also the support by the Spanish agency was to our complete satisfaction. Therefore, we are very happy to award "5 stars" and recommend Camino Tours with a clear conscience. Our next pilgrimage on the Camino Portugués de la Costa is already being planned with Camino Tours. The Camino team was always available for us with questions. Short-term feedback / settlement included.
Only the hotel in Santiago fell off and was not comparable with the other accommodations [ kl. dark room and damp - gray bathroom without daylight; however, good location].
We were especially pleased with the Camino gift, the guided tour of Santiago with Francisco. Thank you for that.

The selected accommodations were different, but all okay, with especially the lower rated hotels convincing by friendliness, responsiveness or other attributes.

The advice and tips were great. Also the experiences already made have helped me a lot in planning my stages.
The hotels and guesthouses are often also smaller providers that make breakfast a special experience. Thank you Heike and Susanne for an unforgettable experience. For sure I will do the Caminho Portugués again.

We found the support extremely helpful on our first Camino. The good planning and advice gave us security and confidence to concentrate fully on the day and our way. The accommodations / hotels were especially in the smaller towns very nice, individual and charming. This was a wonderful selection. Also the luggage transport worked quite reliably in Portugal and Spain. In general, we have come to know and love a very different kind of vacation, with a daily task, but still totally relaxing. We will certainly do this again on a different route.

I was very satisfied with Camino Tours. Camino Tours were very professional with the process from start to finish. I would recommend Camino Tours anytime. I plan on walking the Camino again next year and will definitely book that with Camino Tours.

There were problems with the flight we booked ourselves, we arrived late in Madrid and missed the onward flight to Santiago de Compostela. It was no problem at all to change the cab that was supposed to take us from there to Sarria and we were brought well, at a late hour to Sarria. If we had any questions, we could always contact the local contact person. Everything else worked out fine, e.g. luggage transfer. The accommodations were all very good, clean and modern. We would travel again with Camino Tours and have already recommended them.

A great experience from start to finish. We felt very well taken care of by the tour operator. The booked services have met our expectations, the documents provided to us, such as the guidebooks and stage maps, and attentions, such as the scallop shell and ribbon, have supported and helped us on our way.

Camino Tours is the perfect agency when it comes to walking the Way of St. James as a beginner pilgrim.
You book virtually an all-round carefree package. The German-speaking tour guide on site has taken care of everything, but really everything touching. With the luggage transfer and the booked hotels, the whole thing is very comfortable. Only walk you have to yourself 😉 But the tour guide on site ensures that no one is left behind, no matter what problem there might be.
From my side a clear recommendation.

We were on the Way of St. James for the first time (Sarria - Santiago). Rather by chance we came across Camino Tours during the preparation. That was an absolute stroke of luck ! Individually, we were able to put together the route.
We had pre-booked accommodation and luggage transport, as well as various transfer services.
Everything was perfectly organized and worked out great. The selected accommodations were top, very nice.
Camino Tours was super competent, always binding and fast. It could not have been better.
We will definitely book the next tour again through Camino Tours.

The contact with the travel agency was extremely friendly and customer-oriented, I recommend with pleasure. The booked accommodations were okay, especially the hostel in Sigüero is to be emphasized. In contrast, the hotel in Santiago did not deserve 3 stars: room furnishings too minimalist, unfriendly staff, breakfast the worst of the trip. Location, however, was good.
Unfortunately, the city tour in Santiago arranged through you did not take place: the guide did not show up at the agreed time and there was no information about it - a pity, somewhat tarnishes the overall impression.
Very positive: the suitcase transport has worked great!

The contact in Spain itself was easy to reach, answered quickly and helped uncomplicatedly with rebooking the shuttle due to flight delay. The hotels were all carefully selected and of high quality.
