The 14-day trip through Nepal was a special experience for us and we will remember it very fondly:
> In one of the poorest countries in the world, we willingly scaled back our individual comfort requirements. Nevertheless, the service in the hotels and restaurants was of a high standard, typical of the country, supported by the hospitality of the people.
> The German-speaking, local travel guide Rakesh Pant presented all aspects of his country as it is both good and not so good. He measures the criticism of his home country against the potential of the opportunities. This is convincing and brings great understanding for the circumstances in Nepal.
> We managed the organization and transport of the journey from Kathmandu via Patan, Chitwan National Park, Tansen, Pokhara etc. back to Kathmandu in an air-conditioned coach, which - literally - also coped with the roads, most of which were still under construction". The driver and his assistant were extremely courteous when getting on and off, loading luggage and stopping for breaks.
> Nepal lies at the crossroads between China/Tibet on the one hand and India on the other. This does nothing to dampen the self-confidence of its people. The people are already busy in the early morning, do not shy away from work and thus master their lives. We like to judge this by the fact that we have not met a single person who has been unfriendly to us.
> If you want to get to know Nepal - the country and its people, its religions and its culture - you should visit ECC-Studienreisen and find out more.
