I dropped off car on 2/20. Asked for rental car, employee said none available at the moment but at the end of the week. So far no problem. Waited in vain for a call until Saturday. Called myself to ask.
Employee says I'm on the list colleague will contact me on Monday. No call again on Monday, of course. After 5 weeks, I contacted Sigg again to find out what was wrong with the car. (Estimated repair time 4 - 5 weeks). MA said the car is being painted, probably ready next week. After two weeks I call again. MA says car is being painted at Haas, can't get there now, will call back tomorrow. Thursday of course no call back. Friday I call Sigg again (already very angry, of course), drive what's going on, explain everything again about not calling back, etc. ,
MA promises to take care of it. And a short time later I finally get my first call back. The car is still at Haas, but I can pick up a replacement car on Monday morning. Finally after seven weeks a clear statement!
Monday to Sigg to pick up the car. I go to the service employee and ask for a replacement car, she says I have to take the car to the workshop. Go there
Master says replacement car will be handled by MA in service.
Back again..... Finally get keys for replacement car, go to car, car completely parked!
Back again, first question from the service employee Do you know the license plate of the car that prevents parking? (Without words) I have now repaired my car, after 9 weeks again. I can't judge how good the repair was. But all the fuss around it really doesn't work. If the repair time is estimated at 4 - 5 weeks, the garage should report that it will take longer, which can always happen, and offer a replacement car. And if you say that you will call back the next day, you should do so. I've been a Sigg customer for almost 10 years and my father for over twenty (he's seen it all too). We are now both considering letting the current leasing contracts expire, having the necessary services carried out and then choosing another dealership.
