We came across the practice of Marie Lützenkirchen in the fall of 2017. My son, then 12 years old, was conspicuous at school. The educators at school recommended an integration aide or a transfer to a special school. My son was a victim of bullying and was not integrated in his own class.
Marie Lützenkirchen took a lot of time for us in our first meeting and was very responsive to my son, so that we felt very comfortable there from the beginning. In the anamnesis conversation and in the findings, the problems that caused my son's difficulties, such as his poorly developed sense of balance, were worked out in a very loving way, without devaluing the child.
We worked according to the INPP method. One is given so-called "gymnastic exercises" to do at home as homework. These individual exercises take no more than 5 minutes a day and should really be "done" every day. Only then the whole thing makes sense!!! They are simple exercises that everyone can do. One "gymnastics" stylized movements that babies perform in the first year of life again. Thereby early childhood reflexes, which my son still had, are worked off. I can highly recommend the website of FIDD Marie Lützenkirchen, where it is very clearly described.
The gymnastics was exhausting in so far as the child had to be motivated every evening anew to stay with it, in order to really do the exercise every day if possible. That's what we did! Every few weeks we had appointments with Marie Lützenkirchen to see what had changed. We did the whole thing for 14 months, gymnastics away various early childhood reflexes.
Today my son is fully integrated in the class. Unfortunately, he still has not made any friends. But he is accepted as he is and he loves going to school! Sensitivities such as sense of smell, separation anxiety, overreactions, handwriting, sense of balance and much more have improved significantly.
The changes do not come overnight, at some point you notice that things are getting better and that has motivated us to continue.
I can only recommend anyone who feels that there is something wrong with my child, or that my child is not getting along in this world, to take a look at this practice.
We have been very lovingly received there and have always been happy to go.
