The course had undreamt-of side effects for me, especially due to the didactics. I knew the notation, but its implementation on the guitar in the manner of Christian Konrad proved to be ingenious for me. The difficulty of the etudes increases from week to week, and the etudes want to be worked out.
Among the side effects: Finally clean fingering, following through with rhythm and tempo, confidence in playing. I have anticipated what Christian Konrad addresses in his video "starting from the beginning". In short: The course is recommended to all who can not or do not want to make music only by ear. Thanks Christian.

Very well structured and motivating set up. I like the practice plan best, so that I know what I have to do every time. Fingerpicking took me longer, but I think that's completely normal. I am still very motivated and very grateful for the course.

I already have a bit of experience, also with face-to-face lessons and find the structure in the course very motivating for beginners. The quick introduction of simple chords and strumming patterns gives you the opportunity to learn songs very quickly. I took the course to polish the basics again (posture, fingerings, touch and plucking techniques, ...) and pull this through a little faster, which is quite possible. The complete experience and whether I have actually progressed, I can of course only share after completion of all lessons. So far, I'm sticking with it and have noticed even with very simple exercises that I have to work on bad habits that have crept in.

I knew about a quarter, a fifth or even more.
But even this portion is now much better classified and retrievable.
After this course, I actually felt like a guitarist for the first time.
Of course, this is not only due to the course, but also to staying with it.
But that's what Christian Konrad encourages.

I bought courses from different teachers.
(It's just fun for me to hear different people on similar things.
All are at a high level and the teachers are real musicians and teachers).
But this course is very specifically focused on "song accompaniment". And does that well, at least.

The course brings compactly everything worth knowing about power chords. I especially liked the part about making power chords sound fatter.

This is now my fifth course that I have booked with Guitar Video Lessons. It is different compared to other courses because it is shorter. This also has advantages, because with the focus on a specific topic such as power chords, you quickly achieve manageable learning success and have the feeling that you now have the topic "under control". The concept of working through the topic of power chords with 9 basic videos works - and the bonus tracks help to make further refinements. However, I also found it easy to work on the power chords, since they were already a topic in other courses. I highly recommend the course, as well as all the other courses. The courses are the best that are currently on the market in Germany. Didactically very well done, because the content and the visuals are reduced to the essentials. The length of the videos is sufficient - so not too long and without rambling. And the teaching materials are very valuable.

I have taken other courses and can therefore also name differences to these. The way Christian teaches the necessary steps is unique in my opinion. He doesn't just stubbornly explain the material to be learned and the exercises, but also shows why you should learn exactly what you need to learn. This gives more motivation. In addition, the learning content is perfectly coordinated. I was initially put off by the price of the course, but I'm glad I decided to do it. The course is absolutely recommendable. You benefit immensely from your many years of teaching experience. In short, thank you Christian

For me it was very comfortable to be presented by Christian 50 technical exercises for the guitar. Some of them I already knew, but others were new. I was able to pick out the exercises that suited me and add them to my regular practice schedule. The exercises are well explained in the videos and there are notes/tabs for each exercise in case things go too fast. I plan to start the whole course over again in a few weeks ;-) My only wish: in the overview the exercises should have a speaking name, so that you can easily find them again later. Currently the exercises are only numbered.
