Mr. Köhler impressed me personally with his empathetic manner as a funeral speaker.
The questionnaire he sent looked very extensive at first glance, but I found that my grief work was greatly supported by dealing with the questions.
In a very sensitive conversation, Mr. Köhler then went through the questionnaire with our contributions with us once again to be sure that he had understood our answers correctly in order to build his eulogy on them.
The eulogy itself was delivered by Mr. Köhler with what felt like a free hand, which is a clear indication that Mr. Köhler had really immersed himself in the life and manner of my deceased wife, as if he had known her personally.
We received a lot of feedback from the mourners about how dignified the funeral was, and Mr. Köhler played a major part in this.
I can recommend Mr. Köhler without reservation and with a clear conscience.

The funeral of my husband was as I or he would have wished.
It was very authentic.
The words chosen were mega accurate.
We implemented some of Köhler's ideas in the comforter, which was well received by everyone.
The funeral was very moving and despite the many tears, one could also smile.
It was a memorial service, where the time with the deceased was in the foreground.

I was very moved by how personally Mr. Köhler traced the path of life of the deceased - without "pathos" but with a certain loving lightness but still full of seriousness, so that the deceased was once again experienced very personally by family and friends - partly with known, partly with unknown and (positively) surprising and also cheerful things. Even the words of farewell at the grave, which Mr. Köhler read on behalf of other people who did not want to or could not speak personally, Mr. Köhler spoke very appreciatively and full of empathy. Thanks to Mr. Köhler, everyone could understand how much the loss of the deceased hurts and how great our gratitude and appreciation for him is. Especially for the family, this was certainly a help in saying goodbye.

Recently I was able to experience Mr. Köhler as a funeral speaker! It was the first time I experienced a funeral without a pastor! I found it very impressive and learned much more about the deceased through this way!!! It was very personal! Mr. Köhler conducted the funeral service very confidently, sympathetically and very dignified! His voice carries wonderfully, it is very soothing yes- and there was plenty of room for thoughts of the deceased! I also loved that there was the opportunity to say words to the family themselves and that Mr. Koehler recited the hosts!!! I enjoyed it very much! Mr. Köhler is a very good choice for the accompaniment and moderation of a funeral service!

I was able to give all the important and personal information about my late husband to Mr. Köhler without reservations and shyness, because I felt that they were well placed with him, and I was able to leave the execution of the funeral ceremony to him with full confidence, because I knew it would be good. I was made aware of Mr. Matthias Köhler through my funeral home Jörg Müller. I must say a super recommendation. The initial telephone contact with immediate callback was very nice. After making an appointment to get to know him personally, we (myself and my husband's daughter) were very positively impressed by Mr. Köhler. His friendly and cordial manner made it easy for us to talk about many personal things. Mr. Köhler also took a lot of time for the funeral talk. The speech was very dignified and designed for my beloved husband ( as he was for me (us). We could fully rely on him for the course of the funeral. Everything very serious and human. I can only say thank you again, will definitely recommend them.

Already the first meeting and the short conversation before the farewell of our dear friend Kurt gave me the certainty, this is a special funeral service in the cemetery hall Hünfeld.
Humanity, trust, dignity, the kind words in the eulogy we keep in our hearts.
As a geriatric nurse I was allowed to accompany many people on their last way, this funeral service of our dear friend was unique and is unforgotten...Thank you Mr. Köhler from the bottom of our hearts.

The preparatory meeting was intensive, without time pressure. We got good tips on how to conduct the ceremony, the process was well thought out and executed. The arrangement with the mortician and the musician also went well. The actual speech and the design of the funeral service were very dignified and appreciative of the deceased but also for the relatives. A successful and personal celebration.
