Lifetime care sanctuary for blind cats and leukemia and FIV-positive cats shapes the range of services at Blind Cat Rescue & Sanctuary located in St. Pauls, North Carolina. The organization was established to provide a safe forever home for cats... that face euthanasia due to their conditions. A first building was constructed in 2005 to shelter blind cats deemed unadoptable, followed by a second building in 2011 for leukemia positive and FIV-positive cats.
For over 20 years, more than 400 cats have received consistent medical care and a nurturing environment. The sanctuary is currently raising funds for a new facility to enhance air quality, sanitation, and overall medical care for these cats. This new building aims to cater to the long-term needs of those who depend on the sanctuary for the rest of their lives. Donations are welcomed and tax-deductible, contributing to the ongoing mission of providing safety and care for vulnerable feline populations.
