Clients come to C.S. Counselling for support with a wide range of mental health, emotional and relationship concerns. These may include anxiety, depression, stress, trauma, grief and loss, relationship difficulties, family challenges, anger, alcohol-related concerns, low self-esteem, emotional regulation, major life transitions, identity concerns and other circumstances that may affect emotional well-being and everyday life.
We understand that finding the right therapist can be an important part of the counselling experience. C.S. Counselling offers personalized therapist matching based on the client's concerns, needs, preferences and therapist fit. Our team uses a range of therapeutic approaches, depending on the individual practitioner and the client's needs, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused approaches, Person-Centred Therapy, mindfulness-based approaches and other integrative therapeutic strategies.
At C.S. Counselling, we believe mental health should be understood in the context of the whole person. A client's experiences may be influenced by relationships, family dynamics, culture, work, immigration, identity, significant life changes and other personal circumstances. Rather than taking a one-size-fits-all approach, our team works to understand these factors and the individual behind the concern.
This philosophy is reflected in our C.S. Connected Care Approach, guided by four principles: Listen. Understand. Connect. Support.
Listen: We create space for clients to talk about their experiences, concerns and goals.
Understand: We seek to understand the whole person and the circumstances that may be affecting their mental and emotional well-being.
Connect: We help clients connect with an appropriate therapist and develop a therapeutic relationship built around their individual needs.
Support: We provide personalized professional support intended to help clients work toward their therapeutic goals and meaningful change.
C.S. Counselling provides full 60-minute client-focused sessions, allowing clients and therapists dedicated time to focus on the therapeutic conversation. Our administrative and documentation processes are structured so that the scheduled session remains focused on the client.
For couples experiencing communication difficulties, conflict, relationship changes or other concerns, our team provides Couples & Relationship Counselling & Therapy. Family Therapy & Counselling is available to help families work through challenges affecting relationships and family dynamics. We also provide counselling support for children and youth experiencing emotional, behavioural, social, family or life-related concerns, depending on the needs of the client and the expertise of the matched therapist.
Adults may seek support for anxiety, depression, stress, trauma, grief, anger, alcohol-related concerns, relationship difficulties, self-esteem, emotional regulation, work-related stress, cultural or identity concerns and significant life transitions. Because every person's circumstances are different, therapy is personalized rather than based solely on a diagnosis or presenting concern.
C.S. Counselling is located at 2250 Bovaird Drive East, Suite 408, Brampton, Ontario L6R 0W3, making in-person mental health counselling accessible to clients in Brampton and surrounding communities. Virtual counselling provides an additional option for clients across Ontario when appropriate.
Since 2011, C.S. Counselling & Consulting Services has remained focused on creating an environment where people can feel heard, understood, connected and supported. Whether someone is seeking counselling for themselves, their relationship, their child or their family, our team works to connect them with support appropriate to their individual circumstances.
