In my youth I played classical guitar, now retired I decided to learn Western and electric guitar about 1 year ago. I have already watched many videos by Christian Konrad and attended the pentatonic and blues course (not finished yet); now also Finger Fitness. I plan to work through 2 to 3 new exercises every week and can highly recommend this course so far.

Recommendation
Even as a non-beginner on the guitar, the course has been helpful for me so far. I got through the first lessons quite quickly. However, I went through them all and was able to identify technical shortcomings. These come from the fact that I taught myself how to play. This is now being remedied by intensive, proper practicing.

Clear, understandable language and methodology. I am 73 years old and started guitar lessons at the age of 10. Since then I have been playing this instrument regularly, i.e. for about 60 years. You'd think I'd know everything by now. Christoph proved me wrong with his courses. I still enjoy learning new things. The jazz course inspired me to get involved with jazz again. The courses are a great help to me.

Costs and benefits are not always in the right proportion. I would probably have been annoyed if I had paid the full price for the "Recording Workshop"... There is nothing to criticize in terms of quality and methodology.

I can access the exercises at any time and don't have to commit to deadlines. You can also repeat everything frequently and set your own learning speed. Christian's support is also perfect and very professional.
In my opinion, it is ideal for anyone who wants to learn.

I'm a late starter and haven't been able to get back on track with my guitar playing. The finger fitness exercises have probably released some of the brakes. After just one week things are already going much better, I would never have thought that practicing could be so much fun. The price-performance ratio is unbeatable. You get a bag full of gold grains, you just have to get the treasure by working intensively with it, the instructions are provided in the best possible way.
Playing the guitar is fun again, thank you very much.

The "Blues-Ratgeber" is absolutely fun and quickly gives you your first sense of achievement. Everything is well explained and easy to follow, even for beginners. I would recommend taking the "Finger Fitness" course in addition to the "Blues Guide". 50 finger exercises in 50 days offer enormous added value for the "Blues-Ratgeber" - provided, of course, that you practise diligently. Conclusion: A clear recommendation for Christian Konrad's courses!

I've been following guitar video lessons for some time through the weekly instructional videos, which I find very interesting. Christian comes across as likeable (and sometimes humorous). Not like a lecturer, but like a musician with many years of learning experience who can teach his genre. That's why I decided to book the pentatonic workshop. It's a course that you don't just 'go through' if you want to internalize something in the long term. It's learning something new and internalizing it. That takes time. I think it's good that Christian is asking how progress is going. If you have any questions, you can write to him and get an answer. Yes, I would recommend guitar video lessons to others, and maybe I will even take the advanced course (Modes Method) in the future ;-)
