I knew I had to take action. As a mom with pension gaps, no employer to rely on, and growing doubts about the stability of our financial system, it became clear: if I don’t take care of my future, no one else will.
At the same time, finance always felt dry, complicated, and somehow “not for people like me.” That’s exactly where Christina’s course met me.

It is excellent in every aspect, knowledge, the way it's structured and delivered, Cristina's passion, know how and openness, support, the community of women learners so you can share, ask any questions and learn from and with each other. An empowering experience that shifted my attitude to finances and investing from fear to 'yes, I can!' and activated my interest in these topics that seemed boring or overwhelming before.

I took one of the first iterations of the course and am glad I did. Cristina and her team are very committed to making the subject accessible and fun, and they offer a lot of support during and after the course. They also helped me overcome my negative money mindset and invest in my first ETF. I still have a lot to learn, but I feel encouraged and empowered to do so.

Since day 1 I felt welcomed and supported in the HFF community as I took my first step towards financial freedom back in 2022. From class to class, Cristina started us off with the fundamentals and quickly built up our knowledge to more practical and applicable skills so that we could take action right away.
The program balances theory with practice and what I loved most about the course was the interactions and questions from an equally curious and sometimes shy classroom of other individuals like me who really didn’t know where to start with investing and planning for retirement. I took several steps in my financial planning and investing since the program and Cristina continues to follow up and encourage me towards my goal.

To this day I am connected with the HFF alumni community and we also continue to support each other (even across so many countries around the world) as we take small steps or big leaps towards financial freedom! I’m a quasi investment novice! Before I joined the HerFinancialFreedom (HFF) 60 day Challenge I cautiously tried investing alone by using an investment platform and only chose one renowned global & one regional ETF.

Cristina Jaeger, the founder of HFF, trained us, only a small group of women (no more than 10), personally, systematically & pragmatically with authentic passion during the course of two intensive months.
She provided us with practical easy to understand course material to read weekly & then we all attended an interactive training session every Saturday morning on Zoom with Cristina.
Throughout we were constantly communicating with eachother about challenges & learnings through Whatsapp.
The participants in the course all had different backgrounds & financial insights and goals. The diversity of the group and the manner in which Cristina conducted the course allowed for an equal transparent playing field where we all learnt from eachothers personal examples with trust & respect.

Through the HFF challenge I was quickly taught that there were a few critical points I had to tackle there & then:
1) evaluate my income & wealth in a detailed fashion to really know my monthly living expenses / BUDGET (must vs nice to have)
2) determine how much I was not willing but ABLE to invest monthly & START INVESTING immediately as every day counts
3) assess all FEES paid to banks, brokers, advisors etc. for managing some if my investments. TOTAL FEEs should always be below 1%. If not the case, renegotiate fees or invest myself.
4) Invest through a DIVERSIFIED portfolio

I was impressed by how welcoming and supportive the community was. I would recommend hFF for women who are just starting to think about finances as well as those who are already taking control of their finances, as you learn from everyone's experience and questions in the group.

Her open communication style is excellent. She explains everything in detail whilst being 100 per cent engaging. Despite having different age profiles, income profiles and behavioural profiles she has a wonderful capacity to read each and every individual and their situation. The programme has a great flow and builds on each topic in a seamless manner. She supports through out and no ad hoc question is too much ...and of course sometimes there is no easy answer and she explains why...etc . I had many conflicting priorities with employmentstatus , family illness and expat status and she was able to quicly read the many moving parts of my life situation that impacted my a) understanding of wealth management and b) focus in what is really important .

There are few things that I liked about herFinancialFreedom. It is beginner friendly course that you may take without any prior knowledge and by the end of it you will have a good understanding of how to start. Even if someone is more experienced, no one is going to judge you, because feeling of support from the women community is one of the strongest sides of this course. Also, my favourite part was the practical session when one of the participants was showing how she started to use the platform for investing and Cristina as an instructor was giving guidance to everyone and answering all kind of questions.

I totally recommend this course! Even with basic knowledges it helped me to start my financial freedom path! I’ve finally start to invest and I feel much more relaxed about my finances and my investment strategy! It’s true that most of the time we as women think that finance is a men’s topic but trust me it’s not and after this course you’ll experience yourself! Also Cristina is such a great mentor, advisor and an amazing woman who inspired me a lot! If you’re in doubt , go for it! You won’t regret :)
