Leveraging his wealth of experience and expertise, Josh has facilitated the closing of over 300 venture capital deals since the beginning of 2020. His practice spans a wide range of innovation-driven industries, including biotechnology, therapeutics, pharmaceuticals, digital health, artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, climate tech and energy, medical technology, open source, and software.
Prior to joining Cooley, Josh worked at Practice Fusion, a company providing online electronic health records, where he operated as corporate counsel and business development director. He was responsible for leading revenue generation, and managing the complex regulatory environment for digital healthcare and health records, and also for negotiating vital commercial contracts. Additionally, Josh is a contributor to Cooley GO, the firm’s digital platform that offers tools, guidance, and data for startups and emerging companies.
