Hello Mr. Kayser,
I found it particularly great with my purchase that you had identified your title / CD, which I had sent you as a reference file. With your gigantic assortment I would not have managed this.
As you wrote yourself, a sample recognition system like SoundHound would be dandy. More likely, customers are looking for a specific type of music from your 130 CDs.
I have in mind something like iTunes Genius, which you should offer to drill down to exactly "down" which of your compositions from the entire assortment are suitable for my needs, according to appropriate tunings, instruments, rhythms especially, drums with / without, etc.
iTunes-wise, I would then like to be able to click, buy and download exactly these online selectable pieces, without prefabricated forms like a CD or CD collections.
A knockout criterion to be avoided for potential customers could be the long search and listen to pieces, provided you have published an extract of all 130 CDs of all pieces on the website.
I mean, with a fast, precisely definable selection system and suggestions made by this system for further pieces of exactly this kind you can stand out on the market --> your USP.
Thank you very much.
Best regards
