Had an isokinator 2 years, it’s not cheap, so represents an investment piece of equipment, but you get what you pay for and the construction and materials are so good, certainly in comparison to some very “plasticky” alternatives, then i believe this is a very good purchase. 20 year warrenty shows the manufacturer Koebel have real faith in their product. I understand Koebel invented the bull worker so they know what they’re doing and have been decades.

Ultimately do you get good results/visible benefits?

Yes, with good technique and a consistent approach your strength and physique will significantly improve. People comment that products such as this do not prove to be as effective as a proper pro gym. Of course not, that’s not what it’s designed for, it’s a home workout that’s very space efficient and with a good protein/veg diet you do get good results in a very convenient and time efficient manner, which is exactly what busy people need. Upper body and core gains are excellent, legs not so much, but go for a run or do lots of squats and you’ll cover that one off. I consider it a better purchase than others, I’ve had a trx, bull worker and resistance bands and sets of free weights, but for me this provides better results as it was quicker, and i worked out in a far more convenient manner. This was because I was able to work to failure whilst maintaining good form, which I struggled with other products. The supplementary info pack does a very basic job, and this product is not really reviewed very much online and Koebel seem to spend nothing on promotion or advertising in any way relying solely on word of mouth, but it’s nice to think that well made products promote themselves and I do believe this one does.

One recommendation is that if you buy it do watch the instruction videos on YouTube rather than just looking at the exercise chart, because whilst they are very old vids they do illustrate for you the correct technique to help get the max result. Each video is only 1 minute long, but they are helpful. They recommend 7 different exercises each repeated 10 times for 3 sets. Personally I found that you needed to do 11 different exercises 10 reps 3 sets to cover off all the body. I trained every other day, and just did stretching on non training days. Each session took me about 30 mins, all done in front of a mirror to check for form. I never got a strain or injury doing the exercises which at 53 years old was important because it meant I could keep with consistent training and not need to rest to repair an injury. That simple fact really sped up the process of making gains. Alongside a few runs (maybe twice a week) and no sugar/junk foods and I felt much much stronger and far healthier.

So for me a definite yes, I understand if others find other tools for the job better, I hope you get what you need from your kit, , but ultimately from my experience it’s just what worked for me. Best advise when buying something to get fit and strong, don’t look at the latest newest shiniest kit on the market, look only at equipment that’s been around a long time, because it’s tried and tested and it’s longevity shows it’s suitability and effectiveness. Just a point of view, hope you find the kit you need to help make you the person you want to be. Thank you

The Isokinator and the training concept with it are simply brilliant.

Even a layperson can start using it straight away without any special knowledge or technical difficulties and make enormous progress quickly, safely (= injury and accident-free) and in a time-saving manner for their personal health and fitness.

It sounds almost too good to be true - but it's not.
Interestingly, you can't really explain the value of the Isokinator, you have to experience it for yourself to understand it.

The company and the presentation can seem a little traditional, almost old-fashioned, as if they are somehow stuck in the "golden years" of bodybuilding in the 1980s, but please look past that.

The practical information in the manual, magazines and Facebook group is part of the excellent service, and is sensible and rock solid if you engage with it and follow it.

Of course, you won't develop the body of a decathlete or professional gymnast in one go with the Isokinator, but for systematic and healthy strength gains for a good life (and for recovery from injury and wear and tear), the Isokinator is practically unbeatable with its directness, simplicity and efficiency.

Hello, I have been using the Isokinator from Koelbel Training for 2 years now and I am still very impressed with what this little device can do. I have been able to gain a total of 8 kilos of muscle mass in that time. The good thing is that I only need 25 minutes per training session to do strength and endurance training. And only 3 times a week, but it's important to follow the instructions exactly. I can recommend the Isokinator with a clear conscience.

I loved my Isokinator Special so much that I bought the Black Beast edition as well. I love everything about the platform, from the effectiveness of the program to the portability of the device and the build quality.

Before Isokinator, I was a very heavy user of the X3 platform (about 2 years) and did traditional weight training before that (3 years+), and I must say that the Isokinator leaves me exhausted in a way I've never experienced with any other training method and my gains have been substantial.

My interactions with Cliff Koelbel have been excellent. He's perfectly professional and does a great job engaging with his English-speaking customers.

I've referred three people to buy their own Isokinator and I will keep spreading the word. This device is amazing and it's worth every cent.

The Isokinator is absolute quality workmanship and indestructible. The resistances are precisely adjustable and can be increased to ranges that push even trained athletes to their limits. It is also silent and easy to transport, making it ideal for use on the road. In terms of marketing, the app (which you basically don't need to work out) is still in its infancy. The glossy magazine still relies on the bodybuilder style of the 90s.... don't let that scare you off. I actually really like the certain retro style. The company is family-run and has been active in the industry for 70 years. This should be noted and may be proudly emphasized. The long researched and proven method actually allows good progress with the lowest risk of injury. I am very happy to recommend!

By far the best strength training. I have been an ambitious strength athlete for over 30 years. I have been training with the Isokinator for about 3 years. It is light years ahead of any conventional dumbbell and machine training in terms of training time, execution of the exercises and benefits.

I liked from the beginning the logical principles applied to exercise science as well as the versatility of use and quality. The only drawback in my opinion is that some exercises do not work against gravity. But hard to do better. Kudos to Koelbel Training Research.

I am not a professional in muscle building. My training drive is due to long-standing health problems. Unfortunately, therefore, there are limits to the training as far as intensity is concerned.
After serious accidents and exposure to other violence during my almost 67 years of life so far, unfortunately, the spine is ruined, the heart has noticeably reduced its services after a lightning strike and the pain sensation is up to almost 100% after a severe meningitis...
Still, I pick up the Isokinator three times a week for a half-hour workout. It beats any dumbbell!
Sure, I don't build mountains of muscle, but I also don't lose muscle in constant muscle pain! The increase in muscle for me is only slight, but it is there! For me, every workout is an uphill battle. The fight is worth it, because in the end it's about quality of life.
The Isokinator is my absolute favorite piece of sports equipment. The ability to adjust the training resistance without much effort is something that no other device can do so perfectly.
It enables me to train at home with commitment and motivation.
Some acquaintances of mine had bought the Isokinator in the past on my advice. My son-in-law also trains regularly with the device.
I have not received any negative feedback so far.

These are all reasons for me to simply say thank you! Thank you for this wonderful and so easy to use sports equipment!
