Philippinen Tours – John Rüth & Melvin Rüth GbR

Our trip: Palawan - Coron - Bohol, 2 weeks

It was a very individually planned trip, whereby the entire process was done in writing by e-mail. After a total of 6 offers we were able to finalize the package with Claudia perfectly, it was ready quite shortly before departure. It was a wonderful trip, everything worked out great, especially with the many transfers we were glad that everything worked out.

My first idea was to organize as little as possible myself and leave everything in the hands of Phili-Tours. In the end, however, I spent quite a lot of time researching. There should at least have been a personal phone call where the most important questions could have been clarified more quickly - after all, we are talking about a considerable amount of money, and there would simply have been more trust in person than if you had transferred everything to a bank account on the Internet in advance.

A few details about the planning:
- Palawan/Sabang/Underground River:
Suggestion from Phili-Tours was to do a day trip from Puorto Princesa. After research, it was recommended to do 2 nights in Sabang, which was absolutely confirmed, it was so much more relaxed.

- The great highlight of the boat tour between El Nido and Coron with 2 nights on small islands was not even suggested because it is not offered by Phili-Tours. The reason is the "low standard" that comes with it. So we booked it ourselves.

- Everything organized by Phili-Tours was of a very high standard, although this comes at a price. The resorts have incredibly high "western" prices by local standards. I can summarize that the organization is less for young people who are active and want to experience a lot. For example, only private tours are offered, which can be fine, but not if I want to meet people on an international trip.

Nevertheless, a big THANK YOU to the great team at Phili-Tours (especially the great chat group on site, which carried us through the whole trip)! :-)

We had an unforgettable and interesting private tour in the Philippines. We were always picked up on time, had nice guides who accompanied us on our excursions and explained everything, safe and nice drivers and comfortable vehicles.
Everything was perfect, from the booking with Ms. Weigel to the execution. We also found the WhatsApp support from Angel super good. Our questions were always answered immediately. The resorts were beautiful, we especially liked the Coco Sunset. The fact that we were unable to have breakfast at Coco Sunset due to our early ferry departure and then had the opportunity to have breakfast at a partner resort in Dumaguete is something I have never experienced on any other trip.
We are delighted and would recommend you at any time.

Mindanao, you beautiful island!
Dear team from Philippines Tours 😊 We would like to thank you very much for the great, very special tour you planned for us! Mindanao is now one of the most beautiful islands for us, if not the most beautiful! Traveling there is still an adventure, but that's exactly what we wanted, at no time did we feel unsafe.
Tourism there is still in its infancy, but that doesn't detract from the warmth of the people there!
The choice of resorts was really fantastic.
We are glad that we came back for the 3rd time! It was the right decision! Thank you again for the lovely evening we spent with Angelique & Klaus yesterday! Apologies to Manila for the disgusting, smelly juggernaut, that's what we called it before we saw it with completely different eyes yesterday 😊🫣

This was my second time traveling to the Philippines with Melvin and John, this time with Bohol, Pamilacan and Negros on the agenda. Everything went very smoothly, from the journey to Cebu to the transfers between the islands and the excursions! The accommodation was also great!
