Your vehicle was already in its 5th year of operation at the time of the damage (loss of cooling water).
The statutory warranty of 2 years and the extended warranty cover of a further 2 years had expired.
Unfortunately, the day the warranty expires is exactly the point at which the warranty no longer applies. Unfortunately, exceptions are not granted here, as otherwise it would not be possible to draw a real line here if the warranty has expired and then possibly 2 days or 2 weeks or 2 months later a warranty claim is still granted. The warranty claim had therefore ended. In this case, we were not the guarantor.
We made a goodwill request to the manufacturer, but this was rejected due to the 5th year of operation and the relatively small amount of damage. We have therefore granted you a 10% discount on the invoice. Please take another look at it at your leisure. If you have any questions about this or the explanation of the invoice, we will be happy to assist you again.

Of course, I am aware that any damage that occurs is always annoying for our customers, as this is usually associated with costs. However, as a workshop, we cannot pay for every damage that occurs to the vehicle after the warranty has expired. Instead, we always try to ask the manufacturer for a goodwill gesture and if this is not successful, we give a customer discount in cases of hardship.

I came across the dealership by chance. I was looking for a used car and took a look at what was on offer. Mr. Ciomprlik came by and took the time to show me several cars and explain them to me in detail. There was even the opportunity for a short test drive. After a few days of consideration, a longer test drive was arranged. In the end, we bought the car. The advice and service were very good. The first long drive is now behind us and we are happy with our decision. I can definitely recommend the dealership!
