We are young, new, spiritual and different.
In trainings we offer special individual, competent care, clarity, openness and spirituality in connection with our life here in the West. We live a philosophical concept that is more than fancy physical exercises.
...
Yogawege did not come into being overnight. Rather, the first idea was born in Nepal, in the Himalayas, back in 2006. The founder of Yogawege, Christine Stiessel, developed the first concept of what is now Austria's most modern yoga school with a view of the mountains. After returning to Austria, she began to follow her own yoga path and felt that there was still a lot of room for life-affirming philosophy and open access to the traditions. Combining the spirit from India with the insights of the West and rediscovering her own freedom in the process, that was the path she wanted to take with Yogawege.
"For me, yoga means coming home," says Christine Stiessel.
I went on a search and found a lot of stuck ideas and a form of freedom that doesn't really make you free. Out of this feeling, the trainings and workshops of Yogawege were born. A way to connect yogis from different traditions, to learn from each other and to create transparency. With that, Yogawege was born.
From the first course in 2007 until today, many things have been created. Thanks to the many interested and curious yogis, the idea continues to grow.
We - Christine and the whole team - would be happy if you also become part of this story.
