For over 100 years, we have been guaranteeing high quality standards in statutory health insurance and thus comprehensive care. These... services are a matter of course for us. Our 250 employees look after around 140,000 insured persons from 15 locations.
As an "open" company health insurance fund, we offer many "extras" throughout Germany, such as innovative measures and offers for prevention and health. This promotes and strengthens healthy behavior. We provide well-founded, cooperative and uncomplicated advice, also in person at our service centers. Through our online service, you can reach us securely anytime and anywhere via app and web. Every insured person thus receives experienced, first-class health insurance coverage.
Here is a small selection:
- We reward your personal commitment to your health with "A bonus for your health" and the "energie-aktiv bonus".
- We subsidize professional dental cleaning with a maximum of 50 euros per year.
- Cost coverage of 100% for ALL medically recommended vaccinations without a statutory co-payment. For travel vaccinations such as malaria prophylaxis, we provide a subsidy of 80 percent of the costs per calendar year, up to a maximum of 400 euros, even without a co-payment.
- Skin cancer screening from the age of 15.
- Discovering hands is an additional breast cancer screening that we subsidize with 50 euros per year.
- Dentures at zero cost (dent-net®).
- In the field of naturopathy, we cover the costs of treatment with classical homeopathy and acupuncture for chronic pain of the lumbar spine and knee joint. In addition, we cover the costs of medication for homeopathy, anthroposophy and phytotherapy.
- For osteopathy, we cover a maximum of 30 euros per treatment for 3 treatments per year.
- As an expert service, we offer a 24-hour medical hotline, doctor's appointment service and drug consultation.
- In addition to the sophisticated and individual additional services, all insured persons naturally receive 100 percent of the statutory health insurance coverage.
Unfortunately, the APP is not worth one star in my opinion. It simply does not open even with multiple attempts. What it is, no one could tell me until now. Very tedious and very unsatisfactory.
Therefore I try to keep contact via e-mail. So far no reaction on the part of BKK Energie.

Since the health insurance company has a new name, we are less satisfied. Everything takes longer, and the friendly interpersonal relations have fallen victim to bureaucracy. When I recently complained because my application was rejected, an employee contacted me by phone. I informed her that I did not have time for a phone call because I was at work and not alone in the office. The lady was not interested in that at all and texted me back, not taking into consideration that I could not take a position at that time.

I am very satisfied with energie-BKK, even though I find some of the correspondence a bit bureaucratic. The employees I have on the phone are consistently friendly and even if I can't be helped directly, every call back has always worked without a hitch.
I have been insured with energie-BKK for many years and can recommend it without reservation. No matter what concerns I had, I was always advised and supported quickly and, above all, competently, and the employees also took care of things personally if necessary, e.g. calling the doctor or medical aid provider. No service deserts and hotline waiting loops!!!
After graduation, I had to insure myself. My friend once worked there and said that they are a good insurance. I haven't had any major things yet, but the contacts were always friendly and for our Africa trip all vaccinations were paid for.
No long queue or call center. I was able to speak immediately with the person in charge, who did NOT throw around technical terms. So I understood everything well. I feel very well taken care of and can recommend this insurance company. Here you are not a number! Many thanks dear team
We signed up with Energie-BKK because of the very good reviews on the Internet. We were bitterly disappointed. Although the health insurance is not the cheapest and in 2020 now even more expensive, it offers no extra services. Every time we asked if Energie-BKK would reimburse parts of our costs that were covered by other health insurance companies, we never received any support. Other than rejecting our requests, the health insurance company has done nothing for us.

In the case of my wife's defective dental prosthesis, I received no support from Energie BKK with regard to an appointment for an expert.
When I called the service number, I was put off for about 2 months. That was impertinent. I discarded my plan to become a member of Energie BKK.

I was particularly satisfied with energie-bkk because they covered the costs of my vaccination almost completely, over and above the statutory requirements. Also, the telephone consultation is always very quick to reach and answered politely, understandably and directly any questions. All around I am really very satisfied!
With no other health insurance company was I looked after so individually, competently and quickly - I am more than 100% satisfied and can recommend energie-bkk without reservation.
Above-average services, competent contact persons can be reached by phone, quick response to correspondence, absolutely recommendable based on my experience.
