I have been an independent consultant in the construction industry for over twenty years. Construction planning, construction management, building services, mediation, etc.. I need certain building standards again and again and preferably up-to-date. In the building standards encyclopedia I have found a collection of standards that covers most of my consultations
Positives:
Wasn't clear to me until I got started: you can search the standards and jump right to the right sections. And mark standards for upcoming consultations. Means: I waste much less time searching. During consultations, I can answer my clients' questions spontaneously (even on the road with my smartphone).
Conditionally positive:
The annual subscription price. Do I really access the standards often enough? Aren't individual standards cheaper? When I did the math, it came out: No. The subscription is cheaper in the long term. I would have saved money even before. So I looked for the right set in the offer and subscribed. It's been running for two years without any problems. If you need the same DIN standards always up to date, you can take it without hesitation. At least if there is a suitable collection.
Rather negative:
When ordering, I could only pay by bank transfer. The customer service offered to send me a payment receipt and to activate my account. Does not have to be in times of instant payment more.
