I have been an independent consultant in the construction industry for over twenty years. Construction planning, construction management, building services, mediation, etc.. I need certain building standards again and again and preferably up-to-date. In the building standards encyclopedia I have found a collection of standards that covers most of my consultations
Positives:
Wasn't clear to me until I got started: you can search the standards and jump right to the right sections. And mark standards for upcoming consultations. Means: I waste much less time searching. During consultations, I can answer my clients' questions spontaneously (even on the road with my smartphone).
Conditionally positive:
The annual subscription price. Do I really access the standards often enough? Aren't individual standards cheaper? When I did the math, it came out: No. The subscription is cheaper in the long term. I would have saved money even before. So I looked for the right set in the offer and subscribed. It's been running for two years without any problems. If you need the same DIN standards always up to date, you can take it without hesitation. At least if there is a suitable collection.
Rather negative:
When ordering, I could only pay by bank transfer. The customer service offered to send me a payment receipt and to activate my account. Does not have to be in times of instant payment more.

we are pleased that your colleague inspired you with his recommendation for nextbau. And also about the advantages you mention in your experience report. With current STLB construction specifications in your digital drawer, you can calculate quickly and confidently.
When your colleague showed you the compensation calculation in nextbau, you must have been relieved. Nextbau simply knows how to do it. You show supplements in your bill of quantities: Additional or reduced quantities, changes in services, additional services, cancellation of services or delayed start of construction. Everything is itemized in the bill of quantities. You can avoid small-scale price negotiations with your client with the cross-item compensation calculation.
The client demands your original cost estimate? And you have only calculated with fixed prices? Keep calm: nextbau calculates credible supplementary unit prices from your fixed prices, your operational master data and other parameters. Broken down into material costs, labor costs, equipment costs and other costs. This makes your supplements audit-proof. And you receive the remuneration to which you are entitled. It's clear that your profits have increased.
If you have feedback on nextbau, feel free to e-mail us. Or call our customer service. We'll take care of it. Maybe your suggestions are already included in the next nextbau version?
Good luck for all your construction projects! And stay as balanced as your supplementary calculation. 😊
Best regards from Weimar
