It all began with the vision of Georgiana Maës Onesim, a graduate of La Sorbonne University and a teacher with more than 20 years of experience in teaching French. For her, teaching was never just a profession, but a calling, a way of creating human connection, curiosity, and cultural exchange. The first initiative, Paris-French-Immersion, was born in her own home in the Vallée de Chevreuse, where students discovered not only grammar and vocabulary, but also authentic French life, experienced in every detail.
The growing demand for this kind of personalized experience naturally led to the expansion of the project. This is how the French Immersion at Teacher’s Home network was created: a community of carefully selected teachers, united by the same values of hospitality, generosity, patience, cultural openness, and a deep love of teaching. Each teacher opens their home, their region, and their culture, offering students a unique experience tailored to each person’s pace and goals.
