In September last year, the best and most beautiful dog in the world moved in with me😊 He listens to the name "Toni" - if he wants. He was a good 4 years old at the time. Raised on the street and then ended up in a shelter in Italy until he moved in with me. In the house a dream, outside compatible with everything that has two or four legs. However, also very independent and self-reliant and a "Will to please" of 0.0. We go for walks two to three times a day - or rather, he went for walks with me. Always the hunters nose on the ground and looking for the next sniff highligt. If a squirrel or rabbit was in sight, there was no stopping him: total freak-out, no junking or barking, but rather yelling (no kidding), maximum body tension, biting at the leash, etc. We tried two dog trainers, but neither of them appealed to us. Because the method always seemed to be to manage the dog's needs so "down" that in the end you are left with a will-less furball. Through a recommendation we ended up with Yvonne. Already after the first lesson the walks were completely different. I was now walking him and he seemed to relax. She showed me how to communicate with him in a way that he understood. How I can lead him and at the same time respectfully "let him do his thing". After two training hours we tried the drag line and what I first thought was completely utopian, became reality in a very short time: namely, that the dog orientates himself "without" a leash to me and lets me lead him. I understand the dog much better after a few hours of training with Yvonne and I know how to communicate with him in decisive moments so that he understands. Thank you Yvonne for your help! I would not have thought that such a serious change would be possible in such a short time.
