My first delivery was in 2019 in a hospital. After about 15 hours of labor and epidural, our big boy ultimately had to be delivered by cesarean section. In my second pregnancy, I knew from the beginning that this second birth should be different. We decided on a home birth and I prepared myself much better and more intensively for it. Kathi's online course was great for this, because I could practice when and as often as I wanted. And if something was unclear, I could count on a quick answer from Kathi via Facebook.
In April 22, the time had come and our little mouse saw the light of day at home in a very relaxed way. I was able to concentrate through my preparation super and was completely with me and focused on me and my baby. It was painful, but the pain I had was super bearable, thanks to the great techniques I had learned. And if there was a technique in the course that I personally didn't like, there was at least one other that I found good for me.
I had a beautiful birth and am very grateful that I had taken this course. Even after the delivery I have often been able to use the breathing techniques and they have helped me well when things got chaotic again ;)
