The offered product meets the expectations 100%. In our own use as well as in the use of rented properties, the Aquibion softeners have provided complete satisfaction. The inlet of a kitchen sink from a rented property was extremely calcified when taken over and cleaning was only possible with the use of all tricks. After this cleaning, an Aquabion was installed in the main water inlet and besides the fact that the sink shows no lime residue after 4 years with Aquabion, we were also approached by the other tenants that their glasses no longer go blind in the dishwasher. Galvanic corrosion protection will only be seen in the future, I am sure that it works, because the technology of sacrificial anodes is known for a very long time. Very pleasant is that after showering there are no "lime streaks" on the glass door. In our drinking water, the carbonate hardness hovers around 19 degrees, and the faucets' bubbles remain "lime-free".

Have tried various devices to reduce the lime content in TRinkwasser / water softening.
Conclusion: The simplest solution - no cheap solutions - was the best. No follow-up costs, a guaranteed running time and comprehensible functional principle have persuaded me to test the system. In the end, the result was convincing. I have been using the ION system for >10 years and can recommend it.

When first installed in 2004, there was excellent service and advice. Pipe opening after two years showed at least no further progression of deposits in the cold water pipes. After the warranty period expired, the system was replaced. Again, there was no reason to find fault with anything. In the meantime, most of the riser and floor supply pipes in the house have been replaced with plastic pipes over the last 10 years. The consumption behavior of the residents has changed towards less consumption. Currently the past 2 years 170 m³/a. However, this is not taken into account in your guaranteed period of use. M.E. the consumption behavior should be taken into account, because the exchange action for which you do not name any labor costs in the offer is not cheap. Whether a benefit is ever created is not provable.

I am glad that you are satisfied with the AQUABION®. Of course we do not know the age of the drinking water pipes - and of course the AQUABION® cannot renovate the pipes.
If there is less water consumption it has nothing to do with the time of replacement, because the AQUABION® always delivers a voltage 24 hours a day. We are glad that in another 5 years you will protect the water pipes and of course the boiler and the washing machine and all other applications.
Even at 170 m3 /year you are well served with your current size of the AQUABION®!
