From my personal experience whenever I had a question and made a phone call the male staff is usually not so helpful. He kept on saying everything is written on the contract". Yes, everything is written, but I made the call because I wanted to make sure. He made me feel unwelcome and I felt like not calling back anymore which is really bad because I don't feel like staying with your health insurance. I am happy that the reimbursement went through quickly. Thank you.

The experience so far has been very far above average. All incomprehensible demands of a German embassy when issuing an entry visa were adjusted quasi in "seconds". In contrast to many other institutions, someone was always available and could provide competent and practical information. Does that sound overly good? I stand for that, gladly also in direct contact. The customer-friendly work helped me very, very much.
Insurance benefits and reimbursements work well. A big problem is that most doctors do not want to settle directly with the insurance and prefer to issue invoices. This always means a little extra work and makes the insured, who usually speak little or no German, feel very insecure. I had an au pair who waited weeks for an appointment and then didn't get treated because the doctor didn't want to bill the insurance. It would be great if the doctors were better informed about the billing procedure, so that these situations are avoided.
From the very first moment, I had an extremely competent, very friendly contact person, whom I can still approach at any time. I was helped every time I had a question. The requests are ALWAYS processed AND returned no later than one day after receipt of mail. Uncomplicated. Unobtrusive. You don't find that often anymore. Great praise for it!
