I never thought that after more than 5 years I would be able to come to terms with my traumatic birth experience, but Sonja was exactly the right person to help me. I had already had so much therapy, but it didn't help me in this one area, it didn't even help me to see my suffering properly... Sonja, on the other hand, gets to the heart of the matter and guides you through the process in a very empathetic and individualized way. At first I was skeptical as to whether the time and number of conversations would be enough - I also had an extra conversation after the actual accompaniment - but it was actually just right. It's an extreme shame that such an effective therapy is not paid for by health insurance companies, but on the other hand the Mama Healing program was worth every euro for the result, which a therapy paid for by health insurance companies would never have achieved. I finally feel liberated from all the thoughts of guilt and self-reproach that I had been harboring for far too long after giving birth, I have finally arrived in the here and now as a mother and am no longer so strange and insecure in this role. For too long I was stuck in the past and in my supposed mistakes and was therefore not resilient. When I think about how much I have on my plate at the moment and how I manage to deal with it now - 1-2 years ago, I would have broken.
And as chance or fate would have it, the "Roses Revolution Day", for which I had resolved to go back to the place of the traumatic birth and lay down a rose as a sign against violence against women giving birth - which unfortunately happened to me at the time, fell during the time of my Mama Healing support. Sonja looked at this plan with me from all sides, realized that it was right for me and encouraged me to take this step. And even though the confrontation wasn't easy, it was exactly what I needed at the time. This sense of achievement and the processing discussions as well as a written processing, which I felt the impulse to do and which I carried out independently, were exactly the closure I had needed for so long.

I can unreservedly recommend Sonja as a therapist for processing a birth that was experienced as traumatic or stressful. In any case, I can wholeheartedly say that the individual support has brought me more than the success I had hoped for. I didn't take part in the Mama Healing Circle, as I would certainly have needed the group experience more after the birth experience, but I'm sure that it also helped a great deal.

I was very skeptical at first because I don't have a lot of experience with zoom and online "things". But I was already thrilled by the information session with Sonja! I have never experienced how someone who doesn't even see you at the moment notices and feels how you are feeling! Sonja not only helped me to process my birth experience but also brought me a lot of peace and strength back into my everyday life.

I did a 1:1 therapy. Through the many exercises, you can continue to work beyond the time of the accompanied therapy. It was also very emotional. But I know from other therapies that I just cry, cry, cry. Sonja, however, picked me up right there, out of those depths. I am fine. I am not proud of myself and what I have achieved. First of all, I am grateful to Sonja for specializing in this area and using her profession and qualifications to create and hold a space where women with traumatic birth experiences can BE with all that is otherwise too much in everyday life (and for most people)! My traumatic birth was over 5 years ago and I was finally able to find a lot of relief through the processing conversations with Sonja. With her by my side, I was able to develop images and gain insights that had a healing and liberating effect and brought lasting relief, despite the strong stress and also fear of coming to terms with the traumatic experiences. The group meetings of the Mama Healing Circle touched me deeply from the very first meeting, if only because I was finally able to meet other women who had experienced similar things and where it was clear that I did not have to explain, play down or hide my story. I will continue to benefit from the yoga sessions and various exercises that Sonja makes available on her platform in the future - I consider her holistic approach involving the body to be very important and the only right approach. I have regained more contact with my body and can maintain the feeling of my body in the here and now easier for everyday life through Sonja's tips and suggestions.
I really appreciated Sonja's peaceful, understanding, calm and at the same time strong and secure way of dealing with the difficult issues and needs of mothers and haven't found it anywhere else before and can only advise every mom with a difficult birth experience to take care of herself and address the issue! Sonja has created with mamahealingcircle a way to address and process a stressful event for me. Her empathetic way, the various exercises and the exchange in the Circle have helped me to make peace with the difficult situation around pregnancy and birth. Before the course, I didn't think that I would feel much better in a very short time.

Sonja was very sensitive and understanding. She gave us good exercises to come back to peace, but there are always different variations, so that everyone can use the right one for themselves.

Sonja does a great job and immediately creates a valuable basis of trust through her super sensitive and appreciative manner. The program, which she has developed with a lot of work and love, is really great and effective and really includes all the important points to process a trauma holistically. I would never have thought that this is even possible in such a short time and I am totally positively surprised. The course has brought about more change in me through the group exchange with mothers with similar birth experiences than the individual therapy sessions. An absolute heartfelt recommendation for Sonja and her Mamahealing program: after a traumatic birth experience I felt sad, desperate, alone and was looking for a loving companion who would work through this experience with me and support me in finding more trust in life and in other people again! Sonja took care of me from the beginning, took a lot of time for all open questions and was available for me at any time during the 9-week accompaniment. Having someone so loving and supportive by my side was the biggest highlight of her program - besides the great weekly women's circles, where I found a dear friend, and the professionally prepared psychological and yoga videos.
