My son was in treatment with Kim Steinacker. First because he did not talk, but only pointed, and later when he spoke, a stutter was added. So he was in treatment for quite a long time.
During the whole time Mrs. Steinacker was a great support for us. As a mom and dad, sometimes you are worried and Mrs. Steinacker takes away those worries completely because she does a little debriefing after each therapy session and gives you smaller exercises to continue with at home. Sometimes she only recommends what you should or should not do.
The children (I can't only speak about my son, but through the therapy time I also got to know some other children) perceive Mrs. Steinacker as a playmate who is nice and helps them. Through various games, crafts and kneading, she encourages the children and practices fluent speech with them or even starting :) as in our case.
Mrs. Steinacker is so knowledgeable. We were lucky enough to come to her and we felt like we were in good hands at all times. I personally think Mrs. Steinacker got her talent in language development as a vocation, simply because she is so good.
