As an independent insurance broker, we are not only sellers but often also advisors. And so it happens that we are also asked for advice on claims when the contract is not even managed by us. In this case it was the case that a relative of yours caused a damage and was not sure whether the representative of his insurance company would actually help him to settle the claim or perhaps rather go into denial. Based on our experience, we were of course able to quickly and easily create the correct wording for you. Mind you: This is not about insurance fraud but only about setting up a damage report in such a way that it comes to a quick settlement without further inquiries.
At this point we would like to come back to the topic of fee-based consulting. The legislator, in persona represented by the consumer protection living from tax money, insinuates us gladly that we are only commission-oriented on the way and do not help our customers, but them simply only the most expensive possible products andrehen would like this insinuation refers not to us as special company but to the occupation of the independent insurance broker generally. If we worked on a fee basis, we would have been allowed to write a nice round of invoices for this advice here. It is a mystery to us why an institution that is suckled by the taxpayer should deign to criticize others in the way they work and, above all, in the way they earn money. Unlike the consumer protection agencies, our company pays taxes. We were happy to offer our support in this case as well. This will continue to be the case in the future, and to ensure that it stays that way, we hope that our independent and consumer-oriented business model will no longer be pilloried for being artificially hyped up.
Timely, that is the buzzword in today's world. Not everything and anything can always be done immediately and satisfactorily. After all, as an insurance broker in Melsungen, we are only the relay between you and the insurer, so to speak. And at the moment the insurer is in a very tight spot as far as prompt processing is concerned. It's nice that you find our service, especially in the area of claims processing, to be positive. This is further proof that we are not only commission-oriented, as is always claimed by consumer protection. If we had to work on a fee basis, this extensive damage case would certainly have triggered a bill in the three-digit range for you. One can only advise the politicians, who criticize us day in and day out, to introduce the commission model themselves. Remuneration only on a success basis and no special income or additional income. As independent insurance brokers, we are convinced that many things would then run better in our country.

We are glad that we could prove to you so quickly what we do. Even if, of course, it's no fun for anyone to have to report a claim just one day after the start of the insurance. In the meantime, the processing of claims is taking on certain proportions, even for us as an independent insurance broker in Melsungen. Storms in June alone led to an unprecedented amount of work. And this trend continues. As long as the legislator allows us to broker contracts against commission, we are responsible for providing support in the event of a claim. And this without additional costs for you. If at some point the commission brokerage ceases and we have to provide advice on a fee basis, you will then also receive an invoice from us in the event of a claim. But we do not want to earn money from your claims. Therefore, the service provided to you does not hurt us. The only loser is the state, because if we do not write an invoice, there is no sales tax. It is not the commission that annoys the state, but the lack of revenue. Let us not be misled. Our commitment, as your case has shown once again, is outstanding. Even without invoicing. And we have not yet received any commission for your contract. Our opinion: Let's continue like this, we cannot see any disadvantage for our customers due to the commission model.

Contrary to the politically motivated opinion that we insurance brokers are only after the quick business with the highest commissions, we (and most of our colleagues) work for the benefit of the customer. Your insurance problem was solved incorrectly and not at all by the consultant of the existing insurance company. The provider allegedly did not offer a solution for the insurance coverage you wanted. We know the provider's products and we know that he was able to provide you with a solution. We insurance brokers are accused by consumer protection agencies of selling for profit. The main thing is the highest commission, we don't care about the customer. I can only smile wearily at these small-minded insults. And the praise expressed here is a slap in the face to all our so-called critics: Because with this consultation commission played no role.
