Unfortunately, my simple request for an EVB number due to a vehicle registration change could not be answered. Despite the promise to get back to me immediately on the same day, this was not followed up. Three days later, after another call from me, I was fobbed off with the same promise. Same procedure, nobody got back to me. Given that the change of owner was necessary due to the death of the former vehicle owner (my mother), this was particularly stressful! When I called again on the 4th day, the employee seemed completely overwhelmed, gave incorrect data, wrote down names incorrectly, made inappropriate comments, explained that they were under stress due to the move and still hadn't been able to find an EVB number for the contract that had been in place for over 30 years. Disastrous! Another employee intervened and literally apologized for this incompetence with "That must have gone pear-shaped". Words fail me...
