Even as a child, I loved to spend time in nature. Since 2011, I have been working as a wilderness educator, school class advisor and nature scout, leading vacation camps, forest and barefoot seminars, as well as nature excursions with overnight... stays. I am guided by my love for nature, which makes every stay a healthy adventure. I would like to pass on these experiences to my course participants, convey them and make them experienceable themselves.
We have booked Nature Scout him as part of a family weekend. The planning in advance was mostly via email without complications. Questions were answered in a friendly manner, even with short-term changes in plans could be handled very confidently and flexibly.
We spent a whole day with Bodhi in the forest. Bodhi and his colleague managed with their program to cast a spell over the children and adults and to get them involved in a forest adventure and to relax with calmness and composure. For me as a professional also a super relaxing time. Thank you for that. We will be happy to use Natur Scout again and again. Thank you for the great experience, we could all benefit from it.
Dear Bodhi, thank you again for the beautiful day, your effort, your knowledge and that we could experience you. The birthday was super special for me and beneficial for the children when we appreciate the sensory training!
For myself I could also learn things that I now apply in kindergarten.
Keep it up ... just top!
It was a well-structured and varied day for everyone. Great, was the practical involvement of the children. Good exercises (games) for team building. All children were well integrated with their individual abilities and were able to master borderline experiences. This unforgettable day was rounded off by the great atmosphere and singing together.
Bodhi accompanied our 6th grade class for two days in the Eifel. His knowledge about nature, his openness and empathy made our class trip an unforgettable experience for all of us. The complete program made us come closer together as a class and strengthened our cohesion. The children's eyes sparkle when they tell about the night hike or even the shell burning. Thank you, Bodhi, for the great time!
I join my predecessors: Our Nature Scout Bodhi was a real stroke of luck. A professional who is not only well organized and has a lot of experience, but also has the natural empathy. He attentively accompanied and tactfully guided both the individual children and the entire group. We learned a lot and had immense fun doing it. I was able to observe my elephant class up close and enjoy the precious togetherness. Thank you, Bodhi!
We liked the alternation between theory and practice very much. The students were very fascinated, especially by the enthusiasm and the great energy that Bodhi or the nature scout radiated. Everything was very well prepared and structured, but at the same time the nature scout remained very flexible and adapted to the group.
Bodhi (Eduard Müller) has conveyed the content for the children aged 8-9 years very exciting and exciting. The children listened attentively and implemented the practical content with much interest and fun. You spend the whole time in nature and can experience nature in a great way and still learn a lot. Very great is the creation of the wooden bowl, so that each child could take away a creation of their own. Also for adults the topics are exciting and it was a lot of fun. Thanks again to Bodhi!
This year we were with our father-child camping group in the Bibercamp Kronenburg/ Dahlem.
Bodhi (Eduard) responded very well to our group of about 45 people.
Even our partly not very spiritual attitude was well accepted by him. Nevertheless, in the course of the day he taught us a lot in this direction, too, without it seeming forced.
Group and mindfulness exercises went down well.
Archery and the gorge crossing were entertaining and interesting.
But the highlight was the teaching about fire and the subsequent bowl burning.
Although this was also time-consuming, there was no boredom and Bodhi had the group well under control and could competently and nicely convey a lot of information to our children, but also to us fathers.
It was a very nice day !
The nature scout was able to pick up my class, which was certainly not particularly enthusiastic about the forest, in a short time where they were cognitively and motivate them to teamwork and cooperation.
The terrain is super suitable and as a teacher you can take a step back and observe.
On the last day we were incredibly sad that our program with Eduard was already over. So much we wished to be able to build a few more leaf huts, to sit longer at the campfire with Eduard and his guitar and to marvel at his stories.
What an incredible stroke of luck by a spontaneous rebooking, because the originally planned program for the class trip (4.Klasse) had to cancel.
We had 2 happy eventful days with Bodhi, great projects with burning bowls, making fire (in the evening the campfire was lit by the children themselves, which tested the patience of the children. But what an experience when it finally works out and you have done it yourself!!!), archery, spear throwing, building scout sleeping bags and baking bread on the campfire and especially experiencing a lot of pure nature. The weather also played along wonderfully with sun and warmth.
The children were infected by Bodhi's enthusiasm for nature very quickly (we teachers and also) and learned a lot about nature, life and the respectful treatment of it. (And by the way also the respectful contact with each other). Bodhi also answered all the questions of the children and let them (and us) make wonderful experiences in and with nature. His calm manner made us all feel very comfortable and the children developed an undreamt-of perseverance in completing the tasks. Unanimous opinion on the second and unfortunately also last evening at the campfire: The time was much too short, there are still so many ideas and projects we would like to do!!! We will continue a lot of things at home (that wood can become sooo soft if you grind it, I will go on with that) and show the parents and siblings and nobody will take the experiences we made away from us anyway.
And when the 'wild horde' after the class trip in and with the 'wild Eifel' told the parents about the experiences, all eyes shone enthusiastically, despite the tiredness.
A big and heartfelt thank you to Bodhi, also for the spontaneous use, gladly again and also gladly planned, that increases the anticipation :D
Eduard (Bodhi) and Simon have accompanied our class trip ( 6th grade) in Blankenheim in four modules.
Both the children and we teachers were just thrilled. Bodhi and Simon brought the children so close to nature during the two days that it left a lasting impression on the children. Some of them have already burned their second bowl at home... Only those who have a closer look at the modules on the homepage of the Nature Scouts will understand this. And I can say: It is worth it. The children now have a souvenir of these great days and so do I. I can only recommend Eduard, because I have rarely met a person who pursues his profession with such dedication and is so great with the kids. When half of the class goes into the forest without shoes and gets involved in the adventure with skin and hair, you have done something right. That compliment goes to Simon, whose debut was building huts with my class. All in all, I can only thank them for this work and hope that many people read these reviews and we have the opportunity to book more class trips with our Nature Scout Bodhi and team.
Our nature scout Bodhi has supervised three days our class trip of a seventh grade of a Düsseldorf Realschule ... and I have been simply thrilled!
As a teacher, I have already accompanied several class trips with classic nature experience and team building modules, but I have never experienced a guide with such a level of authenticity, empathy and competence!
The combination of survival techniques, team building exercises and Bodhi's own claim to always pass on these things on the background of the historical understanding of primitive peoples, really excited me and most of our "city kids". I can only heavily recommend this kind of nature padegogy!!!
My 4th grade class enjoyed Bodhi's program on the class trip. All the children were enthusiastic. Small changes in the program due to the severe drought were not a problem. The children were super guided and enjoyed all the activities. There were always very good explanations and a great reflection phase. The children are already looking forward to Bodhi's visit to the school when the bowl burning will be made up for.
Thank you very much for the great program.
