Being in the ICU can be very demanding, both physically and emotionally. There are days when you wonder if you even have the right job. At such times, it's encouraging to know that my financial future, thanks to nursing finances, is in safe hands, especially for my particular case of being unable to work due to infection. My old occupational disability insurance did not have an important clause, which would have meant that I would not have received any benefit at all from D***, despite the fact that I paid almost 280€ monthly premium, despite the pleasantly good advice I received from my previous advisor.
After the consultation with Pflegefinanzen, I now pay just under half of the previous premium with a new insurer and have all-round protection that also includes the benefit in the event of occupational ban after infection.
I have 2 children and am a single parent. In a worst-case scenario, this would not only have ruined me, but the whole family.
