Recommendation
Ms. Szekelyi-Peters suggested EMDR treatment to me. I went for it and was completely surprised at how well this treatment worked. In just a few sessions, my fears/insecurities were resolved/processed. I am absolutely convinced of this treatment and would use the help of Mrs. Szekelyi-Peters again and again. Thanks to her reassuring, positive and warm manner, the therapy sessions were an absolutely positive experience for me.

Recommendation
We have used or are still using the professional support of Ms. S-P for our seven-year-old son. After just two sessions, we can already see significant improvements. The child likes going to Ms. S-P and feels that he is being helped here. It is easy for the child to accept this help because Mrs. S-P knows how to respond to him very well and the whole therapy concept is child-oriented and tailored precisely to our son. He also learns ways to help himself, to draw strength from himself - a lesson for life.
In terms of effort/benefit, we only deduct one star because we unfortunately have to put up with a longer journey - but that's not Mrs. S-P's fault and it's worth it!

Working with biofeedback and virtual reality goggles with Ms. Szekelyi is wonderful training to combat fear of heights.
I consistently learn abdominal breathing, watch the height videos through the VR glasses and thus experience virtual reality.
After a few sessions, I go into the real world (bridges, stairwells) with Ms. Szekelyi's support.
I am able to stand close to the bridge railing and look down into the depths. If it gets tingly, step back and breathe deeply into my stomach.
For virtual reality, Ms. Szekelyi lends me VR glasses for a few weeks so that I can practice on my own.
I am always very grateful to Mrs. Szekelyi.

Ms. Szekelyi-Peters has a very large portfolio of treatment methods, which she uses with great commitment and according to the patient's needs. What is absolutely worth mentioning is that she is constantly developing in a goal-oriented way and is always one step ahead of her time. A bereavement in my immediate family gave me a hard time. Mrs. Szekelyi offered me a walk with her dog Chilly. What a wonderful suggestion!
Walking Chilly gave me a good opportunity to talk about my feelings. Especially as Chilly is a very people-oriented dog and Mrs. Szekelyi is a good and empathetic listener.

At last, a practice that doesn't just talk! Ms. Peters helped me a lot to process traumatic experiences through EMDR. I was also able to get rid of several phobias with biofeedback and virtual reality glasses. Overall, I have become more self-confident and can sleep much better. I am glad to have found this practice.
