In a free initial consultation, Mr. Kemmler first asked about the requirements and expectations of the consultation as well as the current income and asset situation. In my specific case, it was about general asset and pension planning as well as the topics of occupational disability and daily sickness benefits ("basic coverage") at the (relative) beginning of my professional life. It was important to me to receive completely independent advice, independent of products and the commissions that usually go along with them. These commissions are common with insurance consultants who offer "free" "advice" and are ultimately always paid by the customer (in the form of missing returns).
The fee was transparently stated in the initial meeting and a clear framework was defined. The advice is not cheap, however, it became apparent to me after a short research that the conclusion of products on a commission basis would be significantly more expensive in the end over the term.
Before the actual consultation, the income situation, existing assets & insurance, the pers. Goals as well as any previous knowledge in the financial area in detail queried and on this basis the consultation prepared.
The actual consultation is then divided into several points, through which one goes together. Unclear points and questions are answered directly.
I am very satisfied with the result of my consultation, as I received well-founded recommendations instead of a sales pitch. Mr. Kemmler understood my goals very well, which can be seen in the result of the consultation. At no time was there an attempt to sell me an expensive (annuity) insurance product, as it is not the optimum in my case.
If my income or asset situation changes fundamentally, I will use the advice of Mr. Kemmler again. I can therefore only recommend the fee-based consulting at Rheinplan.
