.....Mr. Franzen from Büro Engfeld assessed the damage to our VW Beetle and prepared an expert opinion after we commissioned him to do so. With great competence and experience, Mr. Franzen determined the extent of the restoration and enabled us with his expert opinion to formulate our claims against the hostile insurance company. Unfortunately, the vehicle was no longer salvageable and was assessed as a total economic loss.
In the end, we have to thank his expert opinion that the whole accident did not develop into a financial loss for us.

Price / performance ratio I can not judge due to lack of experience with other appraisers and also because I can not estimate how much time the research of the residual value after total loss and the preparation of the expert opinion after the vehicle inspection takes. I particularly liked: no waiting time on site after making an appointment, friendly advice, referral of lawyer for claims settlement, super-fast processing (preparation of the appraisal and forwarding to the lawyer). I did not have to take care of anything myself for the settlement of the claim.
I contacted the Engfeld appraisal office at short notice regarding the appraisal of a used car in Bochum, as I was unable to appraise the car myself in advance. After four other experts had already canceled or did not even offer this service, I was helped here quickly and easily. Immediately after Mr. Engfeld was on site at the car, he called me and described in detail his impression of the vehicle. This made my arrival the following day more relaxed and the actual purchase could be carried out with a good feeling on my part.
